Mabel warily swam alongside Gideon as he led the way to this person that could help her. Somewhere deep down in her heart she really didn't want to do this. She wanted to stay home and listen to her brother. She wanted to stay safe. But she also wanted her brother safe. She was at war with herself.

"Is there something wrong, sugarplum?" Gideon asked. He looked at Mabel with concern on his face but something hidden in his eyes. Something evil.

"Nothing. What did you say this person's name was?" Mabel quickly asked.

"Pacifica Northwest. She's an ancient and powerful woman." Gideon was overjoyed to describe Pacifica. "She has eyes the color of sapphires and skin as pale as milk. She doesn't have hair. Her hair is actually snakes. Wonderful golden snakes." Gideon was beaming.

Mabel crinkled her nose. "Snakes?" She inquired. "You never mentioned snakes."

"Well no. She isn't a siren. She's a sea witch." Gideon scratched his neck. Mabel froze.

A sea witch?

What Bill had said when they first met flashes through her mind.  "A sea witch was torturing me. She had already had my one eye. Then a siren named Will,"

"Why didn't you tell me that she was a sea witch earlier?" Mabel asked.

"Sorry sugarplum. I forgot." Gideon shrugged.

This isn't good. I should, no, I need to show Dipper that I can do things on my own.

Mabel forced her best smile and nodded. "Its fine." She said sweetly. "I forget things too."

"Great!" Gideon grinned and swam a small circle around her head. Mabel laughed.

"So how much further until we get to this sea witch?" She asked after they swam a little longer.

"Just around this corner, ah here we are!" Gideon swam up to a cave. Mabel followed doubtfully. "Pacifica? Pacifica are you home?"

"Gideon?" A beautiful woman swam out. She was wearing a beautiful purple dress and she had legs. The dress floated around her legs like an underwater cloud. Her skin was indeed almost as white as milk and her eyes were the color of the tide pools at twilight. Mabel watched her in awe. Then she saw her hair twitch. A soft hiss came from one of the snakes. Her brown eyes widened with fear.

"And whom is this Gideon?" Pacifica's voice was instantly filled with malice. She swam up to Mabel and began looking her over. "Why is she here?"

"Pacifica! Be nice to my future wife." Gideon scolded. Pacifica raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't think you would get one this ugly." Pacifica sneered.

"Hey!" Mabel shouted. "That isn't nice." Gideon just smiled.

"She thinks anyone with no snakes is ugly." Gideon laughed.

"Not true. I loved a siren once. Then I lost him because of his ignorant brother." Pacifica sighed dreamily. "Ah. He was such a wonderful singer too."

"Who are you talking about?" Gideon asked rudely. Mabel slapped him.

"Be nice!" She scolded.

"No its fine. Its natural to be curious. Besides. The siren is long gone by now. Not dead. But gone. Ah. How I miss him."

Dipper jumped out of the water alongside the boat. He smiled and waved at Bill. Bill chuckled and waved back. Then he went under. He had a plan in mind. Swimming back a few feet, he built up speed and leaped onto the deck of the ship. Bill jumped back in surprise.

"What are you doing?" He asked. Dipper grinned.

"Trying something." He replied. "I asked a few whales about the extent of the Siren's Song and found that if I focus..." He trailed off as he shut his eyes. His tail began to glow. Seconds later he sat on the deck with legs. His scales had formed a pair of shorts.

"Wow!" He cheered. Bill helped him up. He wobbled at first but managed to keep his balance.

"There you go!" Bill cheered along with him. He hugged him. Dipper pulled back with a goofy grin on his face. Wendy watched them from afar. She didn't see him change. Dipper was shirtless and she couldn't help but stare. She approached warily.

"Um, Captain? Who is this?" She asked. Bill turned to her. "He wasn't on the ship when we left port."

"Ah Wendy. This is Dipper Seapines." Bill chuckled as he draped an arm around Dipper's shoulders. "He's a siren."

"But he has legs!" Wendy blurted. Dipper looked at her weirdly.

"Why does that matter?" He asked. Instantly about seven heads turned towards his voice. He blushed. "Seems that gaining legs didn't do a thing about my affect on people by just talking." He muttered. Bill chuckled again.

"No worries. I have the same affect on people if I want to." He said accidentally. Instantly he shut up. Dipper's eyes widened. "Come on Dipper. I'll show you where you can sleep if you want." He said quickly. Dipper followed him. Something was up about Bill and he had the idea about what it was. Bill wasn't human. Not at all.

Hi snowflakes! Cliffhanger! It isn't hard to guess by now. But you won't get a straight answer out of me just yet. You'll have to wait. Probably not long though. I'm stuck on a chair right now unable to do anything but this.
