Dave woke up to his alarm beeping 6:22 am his school was out today but his alarm still rung early because today was his day. He got up put on the first shirt he saw some jeans and his hi-tops and raced down the stairs to his mother. For breakfast his Mom made eggs , bacon, and toast. He left the house and started tword the library on his bike to see a book. He parked his bike at the library and ran inside to search for the book the red massacre it was about what happened in town on the day he was born exactly sixteen years ago why people stayed away from him he was a scrawny teen who could barely kick a soccer ball one inch. He found the book and sat at a nearby table taking note that the book was fake leather
As he read out loud
"As the red massacre came to a close the wicked monster who lived in the center of the town in the forest said I curse a child to be born on this day and in sixteen years from today he shall come to me and be transformed into a beast if he refuses he will die at the stroke of midnight". He checked out the book and raced home on his bike. He showed his mother and asked "Mom what happened on this day? I know it's today... My birthday. Is this why they treat me like a monster?" His mother sat him down and talked with him for an hour until finally she said " Yes the boy he is talking about is you I never took then seriously until you kept getting sicker on the days leading to today." He raced up the steps to his room it was dark and had noting in it but a bed and a few books. He left out his window at 7:39 and raced tword the wooded area to the center and waited there for the mystery person who caused the red massacre. As traces of sunset dissappear there were sounds of nocturnal animals became dominant over the sound of his heavy panicked breathing for he could die in hours The thought made him tremble.
