He wasn't a bad person, from what I knew about him. I heard giggles and whispers from the girls. Some guys laughed, I just did the work. Then I heard him speak to me. "Hey, what's your name" He asked me as soon as the bell rang. I didn't want to seem rude and just ignore the question so I answered.
"I'm Josh Uuka", I said looking at him. I would've expected him to laugh and start to tease me because of my name. Throughout kindergarten to high school, I've been teased because of my surname Uuka sounding like a female's. My looks might have helped with that. My female like features are often mistaken, so when a guy comes up and tells me they like me, I know more than what he's telling me.
One, he isn't aware I'm a male, two, I've never talked to the guy so he just told me he likes me for my looks.
"Ah, your one of the Uuka's" he said. To my surprise I caught his eyes shine slightly. Weird. "I'm Dylan. Dylan Semei" he extended his hand as a handshake. That caught me off guard.
He didn't laugh, nor did he say I look like a freak. This guy, who I've only just met held out his arm as a greeting. Does he think I'm a girl?!!? Possibly. What are the chances. Girls often bring me flower crowns and take pictures. I don't mind, when they smile, it gives me a little sense I'm not a bad person. To me that's enough to make someone smile.
I shook his hand and put a grip into it. "Pleasure to meet you Dylan, welcome to our school" my efforts wasn't even a little high. We got new students every three months so no high surpise. I felt a little tug, and soon enough we were close, too close. But by this short distance, I got a closer look at his features. Golden yellow hair, his bangs in his eyes covering his light pierce blue eyes. He had a scar on the side of his eye on his right. He was taller than me, around 6'2" and held his posture tall and firm. I could see a he was raised in high class, he was raised a gentleman. Great.
There was a blossom petal on his head, I stepped closer to remove it, in the process I ended up kissing the side of his mouth.
The whole class exploded with laughter. ((End of ch.2))
