I opened my eye and everything was blurry. I sigh, trying to get the fuzziness out of my eyes. Once it goes away, I look around to see Zabuza nodding off. I smile and slowly sit up, not wanting to wake him. I remove his hand and move so he was laying on the futon and stand up. I feel a pain in you side and see the red wound. I sigh and hobble my way downstairs to see that no one was up. I drank a few glasses of water to soothe my dry throat. I looked around for something to cook and found the ingredients to make omelets. After making enough for everyone to eat, I cut a little off of mine and eat it. I hear someone making their way downstairs and see Haku rubbing his eyes. He glances at me then looks away to snap his head back at me and look at me with wide eyes.
"Inosensu? What are you doing up?" He asks. I smile and motion to the omelets.
"I woke up before everyone else and decided to make breakfast." I say. He nods, grabbing an omelet and taking a bite. He looks at me and smiles.
"This is the best thing I have ever tasted! Thanks Inosensu." He says. I blush and scratch the back of my head.
"It's not THAT great. I know someone who can make better food than me." I say. He nods and eats the rest of the omelet.
"How long have I been out?" I ask. He looks at me and sighs.
"About four days. It took a lot of chakra to keep your hand going since none of us knew how to use a medical jutsu." He says. I nod and take a sip of my water. I hear someone else coming down the stairs and we look to see a sleepy Zabuza. I smile and hold out a plate for him. He looks at me and smiles.
"Glad your up kid. Today is our last day here before we start our trip to Konoha. I was worried that you might not wake up." He says. I smile and hand him the plate. He looks at it and then at me. He takes it and takes a bite.
"This is damn good kid. Thanks." He says. I blush and look away.
"It's not that good..." I go on but he interrupts me.
"Yes, it is. In all the years of my life, I have never tasted anything as god as this." He says. I blush a little more and smile.
"Thanks and I didn't know that you were worried about me." I cheekily say. He glares at me and then looks away.
"I'm only concerned because you're our ticket into Konoha." He says, trying to sound tough. I giggle and look at him.
"I don't believe you Zabuza-san!~" I sing, making him blush. I smile and then look outside.
"I'm gonna go outside for a bit okay?" I ask. He nods so I walk outside and sit at the waters edge. The sun starts to rise and I smile softly when it does. I feel someone sit next to me and put a stiff hand on my shoulder. I feel the chakra signature and stiffen.
"We ARE going to have a little chat about all this when we get back." He whispers, sickeningly sweet. I nod and he leaves. I let out the breath I was holding in and sigh. I stay out there for a while before someone hugs me. I turn to see Inari. I pull him into my lap and hug him. I could feel him crying.
