Prologue

Alice's POV
Another day at school I'm so grateful for having such great friends and family.
"ALICE!" I turn only to see my two best friends, Bianca West and Amber Harrison. Running towards me excitedly.

"Hey girls!" I say as I hug them I love them so much they're practically sisters to me since I don't have any siblings. We've been friends since kindergarten and we've been inseparable.

"So how was your summer?" I ask them.
"It's been a bitch for me since we didn't see each other." Bianca says.

"You're acting like we haven't seen each other in years" I say laughing.

"Can you believe we are finally graduating this year." Amber says with excitement.

"There's the bell. It's time for us to start our last day here at college." I say, all of us have plans since Bianca and Amber are moving in with me and my dad. we have a lot to unpack. You're probably wondering why they are living with me and not their parents well Bianca's parents were arrested for abuse and lived with her grandmother who recently passed away and well Amber her parents really hate her they don't care about her and did drugs and one day they just up and left never to be seen, so my dad told them to move in with us so they wouldn't be alone anymore plus it's very lonely at my house since it's just me and my dad. My mom died in an accident so it's always been me and my dad,so yea.

After school
"So I asked my dad if you girls could sleep with me in my bedroom and he said it's ok." I told the girls

"This is gonna be awesome we are gonna stay up late thinking about how we love Kpop and are undressing our favorite band with our eyes." Amber said , all of us laugh at how amber has a crazy and dirty mind.
" it's a good thing we finally finished unpacking all of your stuff now." I say
"True let's go downstairs and watch some tv." Bianca says.

But as we are going down stairs we hear people in my dad's study we go and see the commotion and we see some guy who is so hot, dreamy and masculine with the most perfect brown hair and eyes.
"Mr. Monroe I am here to collect my money." He says in a husky voice.

"Alice" Amber nudges me. I look at her " that's Tristan Lockwood the gang leader of  black blood, see his leather jacket and gang around him."
She says .
I look at her and ask "how do you know them."
"My parents would talk about them while I was around they are very dangerous and feared throughout the town."Amber said. Me and Bianca looked scared and worried.
"Mr.Lockwood i need some more time." Father says.
"No i gave you plenty of time. Shoot him." He says so cold.

My eyes fall wide open that's when I break the door down and everyone stops and looks  at me.im not gonna lose the only family I have left not today not ever.
"Don't shoot him take me not but don't shoot my father please." I say Bianca and Amber look scared.

"Ok.looks like you get to live,Monroe." He says his gang members look shocked.

"Go get your stuff and meet us outside." Tristan says.
I go upstairs with my dad and the girls following me.
"Baby girl you didn't have to do that." My dad says.
"Dad I wasn't just gonna sit there and see you get shot.im not gonna lose you too not today not ever dad I love you and sorry about your door." I say
"Alice."both Amber and nuance start to say.my dad leaves us alone.
"Alice , what are you thinking you cant do this. He's dangerous!!!" Bianca said
"I usually dont agree with bianca but i agree with her for once! You can't just leave !"

"We can say you ran away or something! We can help you sneak out or help your father pay the money off!" Amber said

" my dad borrowed alot of money and if i run away he'll kill my father i can't risk it. I made my choice and no one's gonna change it. You're either with me or not." I said
"We're with you" Amber says
"We are gonna miss you" Bianca says.
"Hey don't worry I'll visit." I say
"Amber tell me everything you know about them." I say

"His members are his best friends they're like brothers and treat each other like family. He has a dark past and dark personality due to the loss of his mother.thats all I know" she says

"It's ok well help me pack my stuff please."I say

"Ok " they say

Once We're done we go downstairs where everyone is waiting. I hug all of them so tight.

"Please alice you don't have to do this. I could het another job or sell somethings so you dont have to leave!"

"Dad it's fine. I want to do this dad, please..." he nods with sorrow in his eyes.

"Wait Alice here take this." My dad says. I look down at a necklace and ring, its beautiful.

"It was your mother's her final wish was to give it to you." He says
"Thanks dad." I say

"I'm sure if your mother was still here she would be so proud of you, such a bright and intelligent girl. A proud graduate of Harvard. You know you were her pride and joy she never stopped thinking about you not for one single moment she knew you would accomplish great things and be loved by everyone." He says and I smile trying not to cry.
"I love you daddy." I say
"I love you too sweetheart." He replies
"Goodbye everyone." Amber and Bianca start crying.
"I'm ready to leave" I say turning to Tristan.
He smiles and we leave, there are three black  mustangs outside we get in the third one.
What's going to happen now with me and my family.
