chapter 1

Penelope's POV

i had just moved to new jersey from australia. my first day of school started tomorrow and i knew absolutely nobody. we had to move here because dad got a job upgrade. new jersey was alright but i missed my friends and the summer weather. australia was hot but it was better having sand then snow. i got dressed for the snow and looked in the mirror. my brown eyes stared back at me. i've never been fond of what i look like. oh well i said and i went for a walk and bumped into a brown haired girl. she was short with brown eyes. and when i say short i mean extremely short. "hey" i said. hoping she wouldn't judge my aussie accent, "hey i'm mia" she said. she has an aussie accent too! "oh wow your from australia too?" i asked, "yeah actually i'm from the gold coast" she replied, "well i have to go but it's nice meeting you", oh wait i didn't tell her my name, "oh well bye and im penelope by the way" she smiled and walked off. maybe new jersey won't be too bad if i have a friend.

Grayson's POV

i was sitting on the front lawn when a quite tall girl walked past. she had curly black hair and tanned skin. "hey are you new here" i said, as i got up and went over to her, "yeah, i'm penelope" she has the most beautiful name and the cutest accent. "i'm grayson where are you from?" i asked, "i'm from australia. my dad got a job upgrade so now i'm here" she replied. australia? wow that's amazing i thought. "well i better go" she said, "i'm a bit chilly out here. see you round." as she walked away i still couldn't stop thinking about her. her brown eyes. her big white smile. i might have just met her but i plan to get to know her a lot better.
