A Letter From Edward Flint
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀January 14, 1777
Dear my love,⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Evelin
⠀⠀Over the two years of exploration, I have found the life of sea quiet fascinating. Multiple dangers around each corner. I am safe, no worry. Haven't come across pirates as the Capt'n always warns us to watch for. 'The Death Flags', men call them.
⠀⠀Though I have no privateering background the Capt'n and men have helped through time. I am located among the San Lupus Royal Fleet. The French share the fleet with Britain and it is quiet hard to understand them. Though my fellow mate's have helped. A few of us spill stories of the ocean when we change ships and come back to the San Lupus. We are able to write each month. Though no other men seem to have family or love.
⠀⠀I love you My Dear Evelin. I hope to return soon. The trip is almost done. The money shall do us good. I swear to return soon my love.
