It's pouring rain, and Jungkook's mother decided to command him to buy her medicine for a headache, which she badly needed. Jungkook couldn't insist to not buying it either, because he knows her mother desperately needed it for tomorrow. And for tomorrow, she meant cooking for her two children, doing laundry and cleaning the house since her husband is at work.

Now, Jungkook is skipping carefully through the puddles of dirty rainwater to not stain his legs with mud. Even though with an umbrella in hand and covering him from the harsh weather, he could still feel the coldness as bits of raindrops pushed by the rain to his face and parts of his body. He scoffs and glares at the ground instinctively.

When he finally reaches the nearest convenience store near his house (that he remembers even bit of the roads and surroundings), Jungkook closed his umbrella, sheltering under the small roof from the store. It was night too, and the coldness he had to bare was (really) completely unbearable. Just why did he wear shorts and a thin white shirt?

Jungkook enters the convenience store, seeing the usual counter dozing off but after a sound produced by the door when opened by Jungkook, he awoke, greeting the man with a simple, yet tired “good evening.” Jungkook only nodded with a smile, rubbing his wet slippers on the welcom mat before stepping on the clean white floor.

All the convenience stores’ scents were almost the same as always. with the aircon ringing and a rush of air meeting your head after entering was always typical for buildings like these. Nobody else was in the store, Jungkook had the stalls for himself.

“You guys sell aspirin here, right?” Jungkook walked in front of the man across the counter, speaking politely as ever.

The man nodded with a slight soft grin. Jungkook recalls the guy’s name; Shownu. “Yes, we do sell medicine here.”

After buying medicine from the counter and paying for it, having being seen by his crazed sister, of course she asks for him to buy something for her. And that is food. With the amount money Lisa gave him and “giving you permision to don't accept any change”, Jungkook grabbed on to a small cart and started looking around the store for foods that her sister would like, and he would like.

Minutes of deciding on what to buy with the compact money, Jungkook dashed through the small book section that sold mangas which him and Lisa liked oddly enough. He stuggled to find decent mangas besides the large amounts of yuri’s and yaoi’s plastered there. Jungkook finally found something interesting enough, opening it with the cart's handle slidding from his wrists to his arm fold.

For a moment Jungkook took a look back at the foggy night with rain pouring endlessly and droplets racing to fall to the ground sticked to the thick glass wall separating the inside to the outside. The store was brightly constructed with with walls and well working light bulbs, compared to the dark outside. Jungkook saw a familiar figure struggling to even stand up, a small slender figure holding onto a stranger’s house's wall with wet clothes and body trembling out of coldness, her free hand accompanying the low temperature of her body.

And it was Mina. Jungkook’s face lit up, but only to fall down into seeing the woman’s poor condition. Her whole body was trembling, low stare at the road with lips slightly parted, puffing out a smoke-like vapour from the coldness her body was receiving.

Jungkook drops the manga he just started readinng and rushes to the counter, dropping the cart in front of the flinching, much taller guy. Then, he grabbed all the money Lisa gave him, slams it on the glass counter before immediately ran to get a towel on display just beside the counter. “I’ll pay for this towel later, please pack the things I bought already!” Jungkook passes the counter by sliding unintentionally, opening the door and ignoring the loud bells he just created.
