Icy pale skin, smeared with blood that was still warm; her eyes seemed faded into the grayness of her irises, almost as if they were being painted by a thread.

She was so empty, falling into the nothingness of her own being. She just sat there, gazing into the sky of a thousand clouds- oblivious to her pain.

Such a sorry soul, filled with thoughts that had no end- just meaningless thoughts of her sufferance.

Feeling weak, she took her tired eyes away from the seemed to be portrait of the sky, looking down to finally see the blood that coated her once soft flesh; now tattered.

Her fair skin now colored with purple bruises and red marks. No broken bones, but everything else in her had seemed to be just that.

If only it were different, if only she had been saved.

Alas the innocent seemed to be plucked out from those known to the wicked. As they say the prettiest flowers are picked first. However she did not have looks, she did not fit society's definition of beauty, but she was most stunning on the inside. She was the kindest creature, so sweet to others, and cherished all who came her way.

And yet this is what the world planned for her, this was her fate, and why? No one knows, no one cared, she was a no one; a lonely girl.

He, he had chosen the rest of her life. A month of pure torture was all the poor girl could take.

So now she lays, helplessly as she gazes upon such ruins of her body, her heartbeat slowly dying-

Fading into a smile.
