Marty: "Mom... Is that you?"
Lorraine: "There, now. Just relax. You've been asleep for almost nine hours, now."
Marty: "I had a horrible nightmare. I dreamed that I... came back to the present. But it's... Boring."
Lorraine: "Well, you're safe and sound, now... Back in good old 1986. You're late for breakfast, Marty."
Marty: "Of course I am. Why would I be anything else?"
Emma: "Good morning, Martin."
Marty: "Emma... Hey. Wh-what are you doing here?"
Emma: "You invited me to stay over last night, remember?"
Marty: "You mean that wasn't just a dream?"
Emma: "I wish it was, but... No. To my knowledge, the Ford was destroyed. Likely due to a molecular instability. Most likely because its aluminum frame wasn't adequately built to sustain the rigors of time travel. I'm very much stranded here in 1986, Martin. Are you feeling all right?"
Marty: "It's Marty, Em. Just Marty... And yeah, I'm—Linda? Dave? Okay, what are you two doing here?"
Dave: "I stopped by to grab some breakfast, and wish our sister good luck."
Linda: "Today's my first day of class. And I'm not gonna be late."
Emma: "What's your major?"
Linda: "I'm going to beauty school. Once I get my MBA, nothing's stopping me from opening my own beauty salon. Guess I got the looks and the brains in this family. You just got the truck."
Marty: "Yeah... You two have it all figured out. Look—I gotta go. I'm running a little late."
Dave: "That's your problem, little bro. You've got to figure out what you're doing. The future's gonna be here before you know it... And you'll have to get on with life."
Emma: "Wait for me, Marty!"
Biff: "Hey, Marty!"
Marty: "Hey, Biff. Uh... Thanks. For washing the—My truck."
Biff: "That's what I'm here for, Marty—That's why your pops keeps me around. You gonna take her out?"
Marty: "No. I... Not today. Biff, can I ask you something?"
Biff: "You bet! Shoot."
Marty: "You ever feel like all the best stuff already happened? Like your greatest days are behind you?"
Biff: "Ha! Every day, Marty. Every single day."
Emma: "What was that all about?"
Marty: "Oh, nothing... I was just curious, that's all."
Emma: "Hmm..."
Marty: "Uh... Come on. Even if you can't actually go to school, I don't think you want to look like you're late."
Emma: "Yeah, I agree."

(this bit isn't from the comic. it was thought up entirely by me as something to go in between two other parts that are in the comics)
Lorraine: "Emma, would you be a dear and go take this to Marty, please?"
Emma: "But he said he wasn't hungry—"
Lorraine: "I know, but I'm worried about him."
Emma: "Well, okay..."
Lorraine: "Thank you, sweetie."

Continuum Conundrum Randomness
Science FictionJust bits and pieces of the storyline from IDW Publishing's Back to the Future comic series called Continuum Conundrum. I know it's not really cool to do so, but I like to write Emma into it as my form of stress relief.
