Chapter 2

Mark was Zoë's best friend and they were always hanging out. When they did hang out Alfie was a third wheel but he didn't mind he was lucky enough to be with zoë. Zoë babbled away on the phone for about 10 minutes as Alfie continued to stroke a sleek black Nala. When Zoë got off the phone she was beaming with joy, she proceeded to tell Alfie that mark was in Brighton and would be here in 30 minutes for breakfast. As the word breakfast left her mouth Alfie could see that she had a thought when her eyes lit up. Zoë threw the cover off of her body the rush down the stairs in her Cath Kidston pyjamas. She had the perfect idea, she was going to make a breakfast extravaganza for Mark. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, toast Mark was getting the lot. Alfie was happy to help since Mark is a very good friend. As Zoë was whipping the cream for the strawberries and Alfie was flipping the pancakes, the door bell rang...
