Those same thoughts kept flooding Crystal's mind over and over again, as she continues to sob in the corner of her dimly lit room. She hated the light... she always has.... it drives her insane.
Her cat Shadow made her way into Crystal's arms in an attempt to make feel better.
"S-Shadow...Why? Why do they hate me!"
Crystal's grip on Shadow tightens as she stands up.
" I... wish... they could... ALL JUST DIE!"
As if on cue a ball of light forms in the middle of her room. Crystal screams and drops shadow to cover her eyes.
"AHH W-WHAT NO! STOP! M-" She falls to the ground but before her eyes closes she sees a dark figure in her room looking at her.
"I'm sorry...Crystal...I hope you'll one day forgive me...maybe this gift will help"
