Miracle

"There is a high possibility of you having cancer but we are still unsure . It is advised that you proceed to the hospital for a check up ." The nurse said .

Your heart beat faster and you looked down . You had just went for a screening and you may be diagnosed with cancer . You thanked her and took the referral letter in your hand and left the room .

*hmp* you sighed and slowly walked in the park downstairs your house . You didn't know if you should tell Jaesuk about this or not . After contemplating you decided to keep it from him and to tell him only when the results are out .

You quickly went home and prepared dinner .

Three days later

After Jaesuk went out to work you grabbed your bag and went to the hospital for a test .

"(Y/N) you would have to come back again tomorrow to receive your results . Please be ready tomorrow as in emotional and physically."

You thanked her and walked out . Taking in a big breath , You walked out the hospital and looked at the huge building behind you .

*should'nt I tell Jaesuk?*

This thought flashed through your mind . You wanted his support and encouragement even though the results may be negative .

*yes I will tell him tonight*

It was the same today . You ate dinner by yourself and watched tv while waiting for him to comeback . You finally relaxed a bit when you laughed while watching running man but you still could not deny the fact that you are nervous about the telling Jaesuk about your condition .

Jingle jingle

You tensed up once again and glanced towards the door . You could hear him taking off his shoes as the keys jingled in his hands . You nervously switch off the tv. Just as you placed down the remote control , the door swung open .

"Jaesuk?" You nervously asked .

"Yep? " he asked and glanced your way .

"I have something to tell you ." You said and nervously approached him . He placed his bag down and loosen his tie before turning to you motioning for you to continue . However , you can't seem to bring yourself to say anything . Instead you hugged him and he hugged you back stroking your hair .

"What's wrong ?" He asked gently . At this you can't help but break down . You refuse to cry these few days but you knew that you couldn't hold it back anymore .

"What's wrong ? Tell me ." He said and pulled away from you . Lifting your head to look at you . He gently wiped your tears and asked you again .

"Oppa I went to a medical checkup a few days ago and they said that I have a very high risk of getting cancer . Today I went to do a blood test and the results will be out tomorrow." You said softly while looking down . You can't make eye contact with him now .

"Why didn't you say anything ?" You flinched at his change of tone . You found yourself crying once again harder this time . You wanted him to comfort you and tell you that everything will be ok .

"I'm sorry ." Were the only words you managed to croak out .

"You should have told me about this . Didn't we promise to be there for each other at all times ?" He looked at you but you couldn't bring yourself to look into his eyes . "What time and when is it tomorrow?"

"Huh ? Don't you have to go filming tomorrow ? I would go myself ." You said and bit your lips preventing yourself from crying again .

"I promised to be there for you so I'm going ok ?" Jaesuk said and hugged you again . A smile crept up your lips and you felt safe and comforted .

Late that night , both of you fell asleep in each other's arms .

Next day

"Ms (last name ) ? Please proceed to room 10." The nurse said . You looked at Jaesuk and he nodded at you giving you assurance.

"Good evening . So are you prepared to hear the results of the test ?"

"Yes I am ." You said and took in deep breaths.

The doctor nods and pulled out a white piece of paper from a brown envelope and examined it . It was hard to read his expression as he had a straight and strict face on .

"Well the results are out and I have to say that

You are pretty lucky . Usually in such a case mostly 99.9% of people should be confirmed to have cancer but for your case you belong to the 0.1% . Congratulations the test results states that you do not have cancer ." He said and smiled .

You jaw dropped open and the first thing that came to your mind was "are you sure ? Please don't tell me that it is fake in the end ."

"It's true and the results are here you can have a look at it ." He said and pushed the result slip towards you . You immediately took it and examined it .

After reading it again and again and reconfirming the results , a big smile stretched across your face and you started to cry again . You could not believe it that a miracle would happen as you had almost lost hope when the nurse told you about the high possibility .

Glancing over at Jaesuk , he smiled and hugged you tightly . And you were Glad that you didn't have to die at such an early age and would be able to live  with Jaesuk and live with him till the end of your lives .
