Chapter 1

I opened the door to my dormitory room. Ava was working on homework. She looked up at me.

"Hannah! What happened!?" She ran up to my bandaged nose and black eye.

"Bloom." Was all I said. Bloom was a bully. She has anger issues and all her friends are bullies like her.

Ava rushed to the sink. "What happened this time?"

"All I did was answer the question correctly. Then after class she hit my face in the hallway. Saying stuff like 'Oh you think your so smart.' Luckily Jack walked by at that exact moment."(Jack is a kid who I'm pretty sure likes me and all my friends.)

Ava rushed back with a cold wet cloth, and pressed it to my eye lightly. " Hannah you need to stop using S.A.M.S."(S.A.M.S stands for Science and Mathematics Skills.)

"I didn't! It was an extremely easy question." I said. Ava raised an eyebrow. I raised an eyebrow back.

"Well if you say so." she finally said. She went to work on healing my eye and nose. Healing stuff was how should I put this her power. Mine was reading peoples minds and entering peoples dreams. And controlling dreams. Are dormitory neighbors Madison and Olivia also had powers. Olivia's was illusions as in to make people see things. Madison's was making things grow. Like plants or in are case people. One year we were really short then Madison touched us all and we grew another foot.

"Done!"I heard Ava say. I looked in the mirror. Ava had done a good job. My face looked like an angle's. I entered Ava's mind. She was thinking about how good nachos sounded.

"It's wonderful Ava! How would nachos sound for dinner?" I asked. She frowned.

"You did it again didn't you?" She asked.

"Yup!" I said as I walked towards the kitchen.
