John tackled the man to the ground, not seeing the blade the man pulled out before being thrown on the ground. He felt it though.
John gasped and staggered to his feet, not that he made it far. His feet began to wobble and become unstable so he fell against one of the walls. He slid to the ground, not seeing the dark red stain that he left behind him.
John put pressure on the wound, and cried out in pain as he came in contact with the deep and fatal would. Oh, no. Sherlock was at Baker Street. He shakily pulled out his phone and dialed the number for his boyfriend.
He put the phone to his ear weakly and waited for his boyfriend to pick up. It was a while and John's life was slowly fading from his body. "John, I'm the middle of an important experiment."Sherlock sounded very annoyed and John would have laughed but he could barely find the strength to. "Sh-Sher?" He gasped weakly and felt tears fall down his face.
He was going to leave Sherlock in a world that hated him.
"John? What's wrong?" Sherlock's voice went from annoyance to concern in one second flat. "I-I..." He just had to say it, but couldn't for the words.
"I... L-Love y-y.. you." He managed to get that out but he was losing his senses of everything around him, including Sherlock's frantic screams demanding him to tell him where he was.
The last thing John ever heard before permanently slipping into the darkness was Sherlock screaming his name.

"Ex-military John Watson was stabbed and killed two nights ago in the street of-" Sherlock threw the remote at the TV screen, smashing the screen in, he didn't seem to care.
Sherlock was sick, the reporter sounded happy and not the least bit sorry for the loss of an important life. "Oh, John." Sherlock said to himself as he put his face in his hands to hide the tears that began to fall from his face.
"I... L-Love y-y... you." Sherlock couldn't stop repeating what John's last words to him had been, and he didn't say it back to him. "I'm sorry. I do John, I do love you. So much." Sherlock cried. Then an idea popped into his head. And honestly, it was his most stupid idea ever, but he didn't care.
He would get his Watson again.

"Consulting Detective Sherlock Holmes was found dead yesterday next to the grave of John H Watson with one gunshot wound to the head." A news reporter said, not happily. "Sherlock will be buried next to the grave his passed away on, believing it is what he wished for."
