THADDEUS'S POV

Holy fudging moon goddess.
I kissed her. I kissed her. I finally kissed the girl that I've liked every since the first grade but she's also my best friend.

I'm so stupid. Alex went to India's around 4pm so she could get ready for the ball. The ball is to introduce the new Alpha and Beta.

And for the wolves who doesn't have a mate could find them here. "Thaddeus hurry we have an hour to be there."

"Dad can I ask you a question?" My dad walked further into my room and sat in one of my rolling chairs. "What is it?"

Putting on the tie India had gave me earlier this morning that matches Alex's dress. "What if I find my mate?" He started laughing.

"My dear boy you already found her." "What?" "Exactly what I meant you've already found her." "How do you know?"

"Okay you know that some of the Betas in some packs has powers." "Yeah of course to protect their Alpha if needed."

"Right you remember Alex's dad." "Yeah how could you ever forget Beta Carson he was a good Beta and a good father."

"And my best friend okay so he had a gift to see the future." "Wait so he knew who my mate is?" "Yes but he also knew that the future could change."

"Tell me please will she be going to the ball?" "Yes." Don't get me wrong I'm happy to find out who my mate is but what about Alex.

Dad in all honesty I would love to meet her but I just can't leave Alex." "But son you will have a mate someone who you should cherish."

"And I will but I will also have Alex in my life no matter what." "Thaddeus wait until 12:00 tonight." "Wait why 12:00."

"Because you will find her now come on."

Thaddeus:'Are you ready?'
Alex:'Then I'll ever be.'
Thaddeus:'I'm waiting down stairs.'
Alex:'Okay.'

I waited about five minutes until I saw her. She was beautiful no stunning. Her hair was in large curls flowing down her back she didn't even look like she was wearing any makeup and she was wearing her contacts I've always hated when she weared them her contacts were brown she said it reminded her of her dad.

The dress was beautiful it was blood red and was hugging her curves in all the right places. When she was walking down the spiraling stairs the back of her dress was open reveling her tan back.

I looked closely as she walked you could see her back dimples the front of her dress had little clear stones on them.

She just didn't know how badly I wanted her. I could feel a budge in my pants. I started to think about old fat guys without shirts on.

As soon as it appeared it was gone. My dad leant over and whispered in my ear. "Control your beast son."

I could feel my face heat up. She finally made it down stairs. Walking up to her and interlacing our fingers together. "You look beautiful Alex."
Alex: 'As do you Seus.'

Thaddeus: 'Alex are you okay?'
Alex: 'Yeah just nervous.'

It took an hour to get here but it seem as if the hour wasn't long enough. I got out the car and opened the door on Alex's side.

She instantly grabbed my hand and I gave it a squeeze and offered her a smile which she returned back.

I loved it when she smiles because she has these deep dimples that are just cute. We went inside the mansion to the Alpha's table and sat down.
