Jealousy - Chapter 4

Kawaii~Chan's POV

"Zane~Kun! Zane~Kun wake up!" Kawaii~Chan shook her boyfriend awake after he passed out. Zane~Kun got up. "I had a horrible dream where Gene-" "Shhh, Zane~Kun. Kawaii~CHan got you." Kawaii~Chan kissed his cheek and Zane~Kun relaxed. "Um, is Zane okay?" Gene asked. "IT WASN'T A DREAM! IT'S YOU!" Zane~Kun snarled and Gene flinched. "You mistreated Zane~Kun in High School and he hasn't forgiven you!" Kawaii~Chan told Gene. Gene was staring at kawaii~Chan. Zane~Kun grumbled and stood up beside Kawaii~Chan. Gene smirked, "Wow Kawaii~Chan, you look a LOT prettier than I thought." Kawaii~Chan turned pink and Zane~Kun screamed. "What?!" Gene shrugged, "It's the truth. She's way sexy." At that word Zane~Kun punched Gene. "Zane~Kun!" Kawaii~Chan squeaked. Gene punched him back. Zane~Kun toppled over. Aphmau~Senpai came in. "Kawaii~Chan! I'm sorry I tried to stop Gene- OH NO!" She noticed them tussling. Kawaii~Chan ran forward and grabbed Zane~Kun's shoulders and got punched by Gene accidentally. Kawaii~Chan fell back.

Zane's POV:

"KAWAII~CHAN! NO!" I smashed Gene so hard it knocked him out and I ran to Kawaii~Chan. "She was just trying to help! Kawaii~Chan... I'm so sorry..." Kawaii~Chan lifted her head. "Kawaii~Chan is okay... Gene pun ched her on accident and knocked the wind from her. Kawaii~Chan is okay. Thanks Zane~Kun." I grabbed Kawaii~Chan and held her for a moment. "Oh thank Irene! I was so worried..." I whispered. Kawaii~Chan nestled into my arms. Gene began to get up. He ran over. "Kawaii~Chan! I'm so sorry!" I whipped around. "Get away from her!" Gene flinched. Kawaii~CHan got up. She faced Gene strongly, her tail lashing back and forth. "You haven't changed a bit! Hm!" And she turned her back on him. I was impressed. Usually Kawaii~Chan doesn't like to confront people. Gene grabbed her hand. "I'm really sorry..." I stiffened and got up. Kawaii~Chan pulled away from him and I appeared next to Kawaii~Chan. Gene looked back and forth from us. "Oh, you guys are dating.." He said sadly. I growled. "Yes." I felt Kawaii~Chan's heart beating fast. She was obviously very nervous. "What are you doing here, Gene?" I said coldly. "I was coming to visit Dante. He is my brother after all." Kawaii~Chan murmured quietly, "Why aren't you with him then?" Gene leaned close towards her, "Hm?" Kawaii~Chan flinched and I shoved Gene back. "Stop making her uncomfortable."

Kawaii~Chan's POV:

Kawaii~Chan felt very awkward since Gene was still uncomfortably close to her even though Zane~Kun shoved him back. Kawaii~Chan was relieved that Zane~Kun was standing up for her. Kawaii~Chan always had a weird backstory with Gene. He always bullied her and now he's suddenly so into her? Gene grumbled at Zane~Kun. I'm not making her uncomfortable. Now let Kawaii~Chan speak for herself." Zane~Kun flinched. Kawaii~Chan held Zane~Kun's hand tighter and raised her voice at an equal level to Gene's. "I appreciate Zane~Kun looking out for Kawaii~Chan. He IS her boyfriend after all. And Kawaii~Chan doesn't appreciate how YOU are acting towards her boyfriend." Gene narrowed his eyes. "I want to make it up to you Kawaii~Chan. Want to hang out?" Zane~Kun stiffened. Kawaii~Chan flicked her tail. "After how you treated Zane~Kun? No thank you." Kawaii~Chan turned away but Gene grabbed her tail. "Hey! Ow!" Kawaii~Chan squeaked. Zane~Kun smacked Gene's hand. "Stop it you creep!" He snarled. Kawaii~Chan turned and walked into the kitchen. Gene followed her. "You don't have the sense to stop do you?!" Zane~Kun yelled at Gene. The two began to argue while Kawaii~Chan pulled out her phone and texted Katelyn~Somma, Lucinda~Chan and Aphmau~Senpai in their groupchat. She told them about what is happening. The door swung open, revealing the whole gang rushing inside. Katelyn~Somma grabbed Gene and started screaming at him. "WHY ARE YOU HARRASSING KAWAII~CHAN AND BEING RUDE TO ZANE?! GET OUT OF OUR HOUSE! YOU AREN'T WELCOME HERE!" She held his shirt. Dante~Kun yelled, "Katelyn! Stop! He's my brother, I say he can be here!" Lucinda~Chan got in Dante~Kun's face. "But WE don't want him here, Dante." Aaron~Kun yelled, "STOP! EVERYONE CALM DOWN!" Everyone froze. Aaron turned to Gene. "We heard what you were doing to Kawaii~Chan and Zane and we do not like it. I am asking you to leave now." Zane~Kun stepped forward. "Or you're gonna have some problems." Gene backed away. "Fine, Kawaii~Chan's ugly anyways." Zane~Kun surged forward but Garroth~Kun and Laurence~Kun held him back. Gene left and Dante went with him. Kawaii~Chan kissed Zane~Kun's cheek. "Kawaii~Chan loves you, Zane~Kun. Thank you for looking out for her." Zane~Kun smiled. "I love you too, Kawaii~Chan. I would do anything for you. You know that." Aphmau~Senpai smiled. "Aw this is so cute!" Travis~Kun huffed. "At least we have Gene out of the way." Katelyn~Somma nodded. "Yeah. He always causes trouble." Kawaii~Chan held Zane~Kun's hand. He was still tense. Everyone left, leaving Kawaii~Chan and Zane~Kun. Kawaii~Chan looked at Zane~Kun. He was looking forward, distantly. "Zane~Kun? What's wrong?" He looked at her. "I was so worried about you, I-I don't know... I..." Kawaii~Chan grabbed his shirt and kissed him.
