I'VE BEEN GONE FOR SO LONG!!
I'm so sorry. I've been hella busy so yeah. I'm here now. Shhh it's ok bb don't cry.
A few days later:
The screeching alarm filled the air. It was a Titan warning. It is unknown how they got there but that was beside the point. Only 3 were around. The scouts scurried for their equipment and the townsfolk shrieked in terror. You breath heavily has you hitch you 3D maneuvering gear onto your waist. It more more difficult because you were still sore but you managed. In the commotion, you had lost Eren. The last thing he said to you was,
"Come back alive."
You shudder at the thought of him coming back to find no one waiting for him. You shrug off the thought and blast off with the rest of you squadron.
Shooting from roof to roof, you spot your target. It's a weak one, only a 10 meter class. Luckily it was not an abnormal. Since you were the quickest in the squad, you decide to take it. The other members distract it as you fly around and then shoot up into the air. You notice that the Titan just barely missed grabbing one of your team members. Finally, you propel yourself directly to the nape of the monster's neck. You spin at rapid speed and make a nice clean cut in the nape. The Titan freezes and slumps to the ground with a tremendous thud. Immediately the body begins to disappear and the blood on your face evaporates. You sigh as your squad members congratulate you on your kill. After taking one more glance at the body, the squadron fired off back to base.
The call of all clear sounded. The groups removed their gear and had it checked up and replenished for the next time. Your e/c eyes scan the crowd. Eren was no where to be seen. Quickly you run over to Captain Levi
"Heichou," you say urgently as you bow. He gives you a slight glance as you continue, "have all squadrons returned?"
"Yes." he says dully, "Although, one squad had a little trouble with an abnormal." Your breath caught in your throat and asked,
"Which squadron?"
"Squad 4." he replied. That was Eren's squad. Somehow you manage to squeak out a thanks then run off. Anger and worry begin to build in your chest. Quickly you re-harness your gear, and head toward the abnormal's attack.
Once you reach the spot, you can tell something bad had happened there. The massive bones of the Titan were spread across the ground and a house to the left was almost completely demolished. Landing on the roof, tiles clink and the house threatens to collapse. All is quiet. Then suddenly you spot blood on one of the roof tiles. "It's not Titan because that would've evaporated already." you think aloud. There seemed to be a trail. Following it with your eyes, it leads to down into the broken house. Your breathing is ragged. You hop down and land with a thud on the 1st floor. Dust swirls around you like a mini storm. Coughing, you raise your arm to cover your mouth. Then you take a step forward. Under your boot, the boards squeak in protest but the floor is wet. Your head slowly moves downward. There's a puddle of blood where your boot stepped. Your heart stops a moment. Then, the building shudders and debris begins to fall. You take cover to avoid the worst of damage. When it ends, the only damage is a new cut on your face and dust in your hair. After the dusty rain, you rush to find the source of the blood. It lead to just a few feet ahead where a pile of debris lay. There's an arm sticking out from under it. You quickly begin to move the wood and stone out of the way. Your arms shove against a large stone and at last it gives way to reveal the victim's face. You stiffen and can't move. Your eyes are glued to Eren. Blood covers his face like paint to a canvas. His hair was gray from debris. Slowly he opens his beautiful ocean eyes. At the sight of you, he smiles. Even in a time like this, you still make him smile. Though it pains him, he manages to choke his nickname for you,
"(Put in whatever nickname you prefer here)"
Tears roll down your face at a rapid speed. Eren smiles again and says quietly, "Please don't cry for me."
His eyes close and the house begins to collapse finally. Tears splash on his face, turning them red. You throw yourself over Eren and scream. A huge wooden pillar falls down and smashes your legs. Now you scream in pain and sadness. Stones rain down.
"PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!!" you cry. The rumbling continues as you shield Eren. You still sob.
*you scream as your world fades into darkness*
