If you write a chapter that significantly advances the plot of your story in one way or another than don't say in your author's note "Just a filler" because that's not a filler. A filler is when you write a chapter that doesn't move the story forward, but is there only to make the book seem longer or to make the story seem less rushed.
For example: If you are writing a fanfiction and ur a few chapters in and the characters haven't shown any affection to each other and then in one chapter they confess that they are madly in love and they kiss for the first time, don't be like "Haha this chapter is just a filler so whatever" BECAUSE THAT'S NOT A FUCKING FILLER!!!
