There you were, sitting in the waiting room. Hoping that your fiance, Jimmy, would make it. You were his soul-mate, his light, his motivation, everything. You were heading to a rehearsal dinner after the tonight show, when you guys got into the accident. Jimmy was talking to a fan when all the sudden gunshots were fired. You couldn't move, not because of how fitting your dress was, but because you were crying and in shock. Even when there weren't any more tears to shed you still cried.

Please, Jimmy, please don't go. I thought as I sat in the dull grey chair. It was suppose to be our wedding tomorrow. All I could do was shake and cry. It was getting harder to breathe. I felt like someone was stabbing me repeatedly in the chest.
"Ms. (last name)-" "Fallon, Mrs. Fallon" I told the doctor. "Well Mrs. Fallon, we may have to cut through his chest to get the bullet out. No surgery needed." the doctor said with a smile. I know I should be glad that he doesn't need surgery but i still didn't like the fact the doctor smiled at a time like this. "Thank you doctor." I muttered.
time skip 45 minutes
I texted my parents a while ago telling them what had happened. they should be here soon. "Would you like some refreshments (Y/n)" I looked up to see my sister Lily holding some candy and a powerade. "Mom told me what happened. Are you ok?" she asked. "Does it look or sound like im ok?" I croaked out. "Im so sorry (y/n)" I felt bad for the way I said that last sentence. "No, Lily Im sorry its just-" and in that moment everything came crumbling down.

Jimmy's heart monitor went flat. I got up and ran towards Jimmy's room. I pushed passed doctors and nurses. "no no no no no" I whispered quickly "PLEASE NOOO!!!!!" I screamed and I cried. "NO JIMMY NO! WE WERE SUPPOSE TO GET MARRIED AND LIVE HAPPY TOGETHER AND START A FAMILY!!!!! I CANT DO THIS WITH OUT YOU!!! PLEASE JIMMY!!!! JIMMY!!!!!" I was broken. " 'MAM YOU HAVE TO CALM DOWN!!" yelled a nurse. "DONT TELL ME TO FUCKING CALM DOWN!!! IF YOU WERE IN MY SITUATION YOU'D DO THE SAME FUCKING THING!" the nurse was quiet "SECURITY" another doctor yelled "NO! WAIT I NEED TO SEE HIM!! PLEASE!!! DONT LEAVE ME JIMMY YOU PROMISED!!! YOU PROMISED!!!!!" two men came to get me until I broke down unable to move away from jimmy. The doctors had to sedate me. everything went pitch black and started to fade away, as I went into a deep slumber. the last thing i saw was the doctors raising the shock peddles to jimmy's chest.
time skip
I woke up in a hospital bed in a nightgown and an I.V in me. My head and eyes hurt like hell. I then remembered what had happened with Jimmy and started to panic. "Hey look who's up!" I couldn't really make out the voice. "Jimmy?" I mumbled. "Nope just me, Dr. Evans!" he said cheerfully, damn it doesn't any of the doctors realize no one wants to be here? "Jimmy is in room B26" "Is he ok?! please tell me he's ok?" i said as i started to tear up. " 'Mam that's classified information, sorry" "No please im his wife! Im sure you can make an exception?" "well... in that case get dressed and take a walk with me." he said serious.
i got dressed and came out with the dress I had on the night before. "So in-doing so-" a nurse was talking to another nurse. "Hey Sammy, this is Mrs. Fallon. I think we should tell her." I was curious "Tell me what?" "Thanks Will, 'mam there's no easy way to tell you this but..." "but what?!" "Your husband is suffering from memory loss, so he may or may not remember you."
I didnt believe it, I didnt want to believe it. I ran into Jimmy's room and found him sitting and talking with Higgens. Laughing and telling jokes. "Oh my god! your ok!! they said that you lost your memory, I thought i lost you! i missed you" I hugged him. "I'd miss you too..... If I knew you." My smiled dropped "what?" "(y/n)-" Higgens said. "NO!! DONT YOU DARE!!" I yelled at Higgens. "JIMMY PLEASE!! YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER!! YOU HAVE TO! LOOK WE WERE GETTING MARRIED!!!" I pulled jimmy's hand up along with mine and showed him our wedding rings. "SEE!!! AND LOOK WE EVEN HAD IDEAS ON WHAT TO NAME OUR KIDS IN THE FUTURE!!!! YOU WANTED A BABY GIRL TO LOOK AFTER AND PROTECT!!! YOU WANTED TO NAME HER WINNIE!!! PLEASE DONT DO THIS TO ME!!! TO US!!!!!" "Look (y/n) is it? I'm sorry but I dont remember you, Im sorry."
everything went silent. "you promised..." I said as I was about to leave Higgens caught my wrist. I looked at him with red puffy watery eyes. I could see that he wanted to cry as well. he didnt say anything "Take care of him for me will ya'?" i told him. "Im sorry..." Higgens said "what?" "I said im sorry." "its fine Hig-" "No (y/n) im sorry" at this point i was confused. he started to smile as he cried.
"Whats going on?" i asked. "Turn around." when i did so i saw an isle with my family leading down the hall.
I looked at the end and saw Jimmy?! I didnt hesitate to run. I ran and jumped up to him crying. I was so confused until i looked back only to realize that it was a wax figure with moving lips and a recorder that was laying in the bed where i thought jimmy was.
"If this is a dream I dont ever want to wake up!" i said as i cried into his shoulder. I could feel the tears fall from his cheeks onto my shoulder. "trust me this isnt a dream." Jimmy said as he lifted my chin and planted a long passionate kiss on my lips. At this point i knew i should be mad but i wasnt and i was fine with that im just glad that im here with him. "Please dont let me go." I whispered into his shirt. "I wont." "promise?" he looked at me and kissed me again. "I Promise."
