Chapter 20

~Toby

This was my last day of my mission. I've been out in the woods for about a week now. Master thought it was best if I did this alone. Masky and I dont get along much so its difficult working with him. Masky, hoodie and slender also did another mission without me, but im not complaining, the farther away from Tim the better.

I slowly crept to a near by tree. Being as stealthy as I could be, I hid behind one of the tall trees. "Jane, whats taking so long?" A raspy voice called out. "Its harder than it looks, Im not use to this crap." Jane exclaimed. "Ehh.. he's not gonna be happy-" "Ill get it done." She said angrily.

It went silent for a moment. Whoever she was talking to must've left. I looked around the tree but didn't see Jane nor the other guy.

"Toby Rogers." I turned around and saw Jane standing right in front of me. After all these years she still looked the same from the last time I saw her. Black gown,  knee high stockings, black wig, and white mask. "Long time, no see." She said with a hint of a smirk in her voice.
"Your not s-suppose to be near here. W-what are you doin-g?" I said lowly, slipping out one of my hatchets from behind me. She stalked closer to me, switching her hips a bit.

"How's clock?" She asked changing the subject. "Dont know, dont care."

She pressed her chest against me and currest my hair. "Trouble in paradise?" She said in a seductive tone. Her hand trailed down to my shoulder and down my arms. "I could take your mind of that.." her hand lightly grazed my hands and before I knew it she snatched my hatchet out of my hand. "Tsk, tsk so easily persuaded by a women." She laughed. "no wonder clock ranned all over you." I growled in annoyance as she mockingly  waved my hatchet in the air. "Why'd he sent you." She said, her tone growing dark.

"Thats none of your concern."  I said without twitching, holding my guard up.

"Well you tell Slen that I have no business with him. Hes not the one I want." She said growling at the end.
"Let i-it go." I said referring to her past.

"Save your shit." And with that she flung my hatchet into my shoulder and ran. I pulled it out with ease and ran full speed after her. She ran at a steady pace and I was hot on her tail. Even though her voice was slightly muffled from her mask I could hear her breathubg getting heavy and how fastvher heart is beating.

I kept my full focus on her, but I couldn't help the small grin that was creeping up on my face. The adrenaline,  the chase. Gears in my head started going on over drive. Images of cutting open her pale skin and spilling her blood clouded my mind. I gritted my teeth as I became anxious. I knew the feeling all to well, bloodlust.

A full on small was on my face as I started to catch up to Jane. Her hair was flowing behind her so much I nearly missed the cliff that was up ahead. She wouldnt be stupid enough to jump right?

I was close enough to where I could grab her, but no. I hooked my fingers around my hatchets. She can't get away from us, hatchy. We got her.

As we got to the cliff she started to slow down. But I didn't I ran at her at full speed. She stood on the edge and turned to me. "En-d of the li-ine Jane." I breathed out. She started to laugh and shook her head no. "Ill see you soon, Rogers." She held her arms out and leaned backwards. She wouldnt...
But she did. She fell off the cliff. I ran to the edge and watched her plummet 40 feet. She stopped when she broke the surface of a body of water below. I waited for a while for a sign of her coming up. She didnt, but I know shes not dead. Thats not Jane's style, she doesn't die nor does she gives up.

I have to get this information back to master..

~Third

"Are you positive?" He said. Toby nodded in return. "I chased her b-but she jumped of-f a cliff on the east side of t-the woods." He didn't say anything just nodded his head. "Should've gone with him, junior over here probably couldn't handle it." Masky said on the other side of the room. Toby turned to him and glared. "I got a l-ot done actually with o-out hea-ring your big mouth." He said glaring at Masky. Masky glared right back and leveled up to Toby. They were just about the same height so they met eye to eye.

Hoodie sighed and stepped in front of them, getting ready to break up the upcoming fight. "That is enough, both of you." Slenderman said in a venomous tone.

"Watcha gonna do t-t-t-twitchy?" Masky whispered to Toby, challenging him. He balled his fists, refraining from attacking Masky. The last time he started the fight, he got a way worse punishment than Masky. Slender groaned and wrapped his tendrils around both Masky and Tobys necks. He lifted them off the ground and the temperature in the room dropped a bit, but no one felt it really.

"Toby take a walk, Masky you stay here." Slenderman said, his voice going demonic. He let Toby down and tightened his grip on Maskys neck, to where he started choking. Toby walks out of slenders office, closing the door behind him. His stomache growled and he started heading to the kitchen.
There he saw a girl and a little boy no older than 10.

Breakfast ended a while ago but Rose and Rayne and some of the others stayed and talked. Toby barely looked at them as he went to the fridge and pulled out anapple. He leaned on the counter and watched everyone. The only people that where in here was Sally, Ben, and Ej. Toby got a closer look at the two strangers. The girl looks familiar, she had straight black hair, pale skin, and brown eyes with a reddish tent. It was almost impossible to mistake those eyes. Unwanted memories came flooding through his head. Memories from so long ago,  he could barely remember all of it. Then their she was, only much younger and filled with happiness and life. Looking at her now she seemed empty and dead inside.  The boy, he did not recognize, but they reassemble a lot.

Rose caught Tobys eyes as he stared at her. Her eyes widened a bit. That was the first real expression Tobys seen on her face sense he walked in.

"Rosalie?" Toby said without a twitch. Rose creased her brows together. She recognized him, but couldn't quite remember. The room a grew quiet and tense as Sally and Ben watched quietly with Rayne. Ej quietly ate his kidney, not getting involved in other peoples business.

Watching her look of confusion, maybe He was wrong. She looked at him like a stranger, like they've never met a day in their lives. Toby was about to apoligize for the confusion but his twitch stopped him. Wait...Rose new that twitch anywhere. Memories of her twitchy next door neighbor, flooded her mind.

"Tobias?"
