I opened my eyes slowly and looked over at the clock. 6:30. Why was I up so early. Even my parents weren't up. I turned around and remembered Niall slept over. Oh my god, Niall slept over! I had to wake him up before my parents saw us in bed together. God knows where their minds would go, even if we told them we didn't do anything. I put my hand on his chest and shook him. "Niall, Niall you have to wake up." I said kind of softly so that I didn't wake up my parents. He must have been a deep sleep because he wasn't waking up. I decided to swing my leg over him and straddle his waist.

"Niall, wake up." I said again drumming on his chest. He opened his a little, then rubbed them with his hands. "Oh, what a nice thing to wake up to." He said sitting up. He must have gotten hot in the middle if the night because now he wasn't wearing a shirt. He had really nice abs. I smiled at him and hugged him. "It was nice waking up to you too. We should do this more often. And I hate to say this, but you need to go. If my parents know you slept over they would flip. They are sensitive about that kind of stuff." I climbed off of his waist. "Alright." He said disappointed. He grabbed his shirt off of the floor and put it back on.

I walked him to the front door and hugged him. "I'll call you later Em." He said as he walked out the door. "Ok bye." I said waving. He waved back and started jogging back home.

I was still a little tired so I laid down on the living room couch and watched TV. I loved watching older cartoons like Tom and Jerry, The Flinstones, and The Jetsons. I know I'm 16 but they are still fun to watch. I could hear my parents walking down the stairs. "Oh I remember this episode." my dad said when he noticed I was watching the Flinstones. "Oh this was one of my favorites." my mom added. She took some food out of the fridge "Anyone feel like some French toast?" She asked. "Me!" Me and my dad both shouted. My mom started to make us French toast, hers was the best.               "Niall seems like a nice boy." My mom said breaking the silence. Everyone was too busy eating to talk. "Well um, I'm glad you think so, because we are kinda together now." I said hesitantly. I wasn't sure how they would react. My dad dropped the fork he was using and stared at me. "Well that's nice honey. I'm happy for you. But do you think that this is the best for you? I mean after this summer, we are going back to Massachusetts, and he is going back to Ireland. How is it going to work?" My mom asked. She did have a point, but I already thought about that. "Ya I know we already talked about that. We decided to just be together this summer, and when the end of summer comes, we will decide what to do then." My mom just nodded her head. "Dad, what do you think?" I asked him. He was silent this whole conversation. He didn't like me having a boyfriend. Everytime someone asked me out, my dad made other plans so that I couldn't go. Most of the time he was pretty cool, but when it came to boys, he was reall over-protective. "Ya um I guess it's alright." He said. He didn't sound too happy, but he knew that there was no good reason why I wouldn't be able to hang out with Niall. He has seen him around me, and he knows that he nice and treats me right. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." I said as i got out of my chair and hugged him. This was the first time he was actually ok with me dating a boy. "He seems like a nice boy. But if he ever hurts you, he better watch out." He said. "Dad, its fine. He's a good guy." I told him. "I'm just looking out for my daughter." He replied. We finished our breakfast. I couldn't wait to tell Niall what my parents said.

**Niall's POV**

I walked into my house after I left Emily's. My parents and my older brother Greg were eating breakfast. "Hey." I said as I walked into the kitchen. "Hi Niall. How was Emily's house?" my dad asked. I was really close with my parents, and I could talk to them about anything. They didn;t mind me sleepingover a girl's house because they know how respectful I am, and that her parents were home too. "It was fun. We played volleyball, football, and watched a movie." I replied. I was starving so I took some eggs, toast, and hash off of the stove. I joined my family at the table at ate breakfast with them. "I have to tell you guys something." I said. "Ok what is it?" My mom replied. "I um, asked Emily to be my girlfrienfd last night. So I was thinking about inviting her over for dinner tonight so that you guys can meet her." I said. My parents and Greg looked really happy. "Oh we would love to meet her. From the amount of times you have talked about her, and what we hear about her, she sounds like a lovely girl." My mom said. I couldn't wait to see her again. And I knew she would make a good first impression with my parents.

I went upstairs to my room and took my phone out to text Emily. Turns out she already texted me.

E: hey i told my parents about us, and they are happy!

N: thats amazing! i told my parents too and i want you to come over for dinner so that you have the chance to meet them

E: i'd love to! what time should i be over?

N: how about around 5ish?

E: sounds great cant wait to see you:)

N: i cant wait to see you either:)

I was so excited that she was going to meet my parents. She meant a lot to me, so for her to meet my family is amazing. She is a beautiful person and so nice, I know that my parents will love her.
