The whole plane starts to descend rapidly. Everyone is screaming. I can't move. I'm so scared. Then it happens. The plane hits the ground with so much force that everyone is jolted forward. Some of the seats towards the front of the plane had bent back trapping people in their seats. I was toward the middle of the plane and my head had hit the corner of the window during the impact. My mom was unconscious, so I tried to wake her up. I called her name, but I couldn't even hear myself with the ringing in my ears. I reached up and touched the spot on my head where it hurt badly. My hand came away covered in blood. I almost passed out. I heard someone coming up the aisle looking in the seats for anyone still alive. I called for him. He sprinted to my mom and I. I was by the window which was now shattered. I looked down at my legs and saw a jagged piece of glass in my right thigh. The man pulled my mom out of her seat.

"I'll come back for you. Let me get her out of here." The man said to me. I couldn't answer. My body wouldn't let me. I had no voice. The man had some blood on his hand and up his arm. He must've been a passenger from the very back. The back of the plane wasn't touching the ground. It was in the air. I tried to imagine what had happened to the people in the cockpit. I tried getting up, but I couldn't because I had no strength.

The man came back a few minutes later and lifted me out of my seat. I screamed in pain. My leg and head hurt so bad. He carried me carefully down the aisle. It was at a steep incline so he had to use one hand on the seats, so we wouldn't slip. I looked around at the people in the seats. Many were dead. I tried not to gag. It is very sad because some people on this flight were trying to get back to their family. There was a big hole in the side of the plane and the man carried me out that way. I saw my mom laying on a blanket under a tree. He brought me to her and set me down. I looked at my mom, making sure she wasn't dead. I just stared at her. A tear trickled down my face. I just broke down. She wouldn't wake up. Her head was bloody. I lay down in her arms. It was like she was lifeless.

"I'm going to find the first aid kits and get the glass out of your leg and clean up that wound on your head." The man said. I nodded. "Everything will be ok." he whispered. "I am going to look for more survivor's, do you want anything to drink or to eat? he asked. I shook my head and grinned. I look back at my mom and start to ball. Is she dead??
