I've been gone for a while and I apologize. A lot has been going on in the past few months.

Now I was having a conversation with my mother and brother yesterday and I don't know how the conversation diverted towards my brother's dating choice but it did. He said that he doesn't date black girls because we're so "Ghetto" & "Ratchet" now it really upsets me because obviously he sees my mom and I as the same. Now when I tried to call him out on it he wanted to call me loud and ratchet just for speaking my mind. I see now that as black women we aren't allowed to have an opinion or tell our side of things because we're looked at as loud and ratchet. It really pisses me off because no other race is known as this stupid stereotype besides us. We're always the ones getting called picked at.
