*Milicent's POV*
"MILICENT RENEA! Where the hell have you been!?" Father yelled at me. I looked around paniky. He slapped my bag out of my hand and when it hit the floor my pointe shoes slid out. He picked one of them up.
"Dancing eh?" He asked. I gulped and nodded. He took my other shoe and walked to the window. He opened it up and through both of them out of the window. I felt my heart break into a million pieces. My pair of hope and my sign of mom. I looked at my devil of a father and felt angered.
I grabbed my bag and walked through the apartment to my room. I through my bag on the bed as well as my self. I put my head in my pillow. I can't believe my shoes are gone. Gone just like that. IDEA! Just I heard a door close I had and idea. When my dad falls asleep I can go down and retrieve my shoes.
I sat up and looked around my blank room. We live in a rental aparment so we can't paint the walls; not that father would let me. My room consists of white walls, a double bed in the middle, a closet on the left wall and wooden floors. I saw the light peaking under my room door disapear signaling that father was probably asleep.
I slipped my boots on and got off the bed. I grabbed my phone just incase and silently slipped out of my room. I tiptoed through the house and out the front door. I walked down the hall quitely and then down the four flights of stairs.
Once at the bottom I slipped out the back entry silently and walked down a little way. I found my ballet pointes but as I was picking them up someone started dragging me causing me to drop my shoes. I remember that and hearing screams.
