Death Cave

   I saw green leaves and a beautiful butterfly, it's wings shined in the light. We were walking on a dirt road but it was hard to know we were going the right way, all the trees looked a lot alike. My friend and I were going to a place where everyone said you will die if you try to hike in the "Death Cave". People call it the Death Cave because all the people who try to go in there  disappear or never come back to their family. We are going to the Death Cave cause we want to prove that we can survive in the Death Cave for a week. I am a little scared though. So we get to the start of the cave a little late. "Charlit you have the sleeping bags" said Josh. "Of course I have them" I said .I looked in my bag and they were gone!!!!!! There was a hole in the bag!!!!! I think there was a hole cause when I went to the bathroom I heard a tear. We had to sleep on the frozen ground, but we had blanket to cover us. In the morning we at a few apples for breakfast. When we were done, we started to walk more into the cave. It was really dark and scary, we had about 4 flashlights and 2 went out. So after four or five days, we were at the end of the cave. We went to sleep and I woke up because Josh was saying someone is coming. We knew someone was coming because we saw a light. The person said "I am a friend of yours, I have been watching you guys. I am a boy and can I come over to you guys". I said " you can come over but do you have any weapons, if you do drop them on the ground". We heard a THUMP. I would guess there was about 10 weapons. He came over and he was our friend Mike and he was not the best friend to have. So the next day we saw a big rock with a huge diamond on it. "Hey we should bring it to a jewelry store to give it to someone and get some big money" said Mike. Josh and I yelled at him and said "NEVER, THIS IS NOT OURS SO WE SHOULD LEAVE IT HERE". We could see he was a little scared by the way he backed away and screamed a little. We said sorry but I really didn't mean it. We stayed there for a week and it was really really hard to stay there for a week with Josh and Mike. It was really weird when we had to go to the bathroom. We had to shut our eyes so we don't see each other. When we got to the top of the cave Mike was not behind us. We had to wait awhile but finally when he came up, his bag was in a weird shape. Josh checked what was in it and he looked surprised so I looked in too, and Mike had the rock with the diamond! I was so sad that Mike would do that so I slapped him. He started to run away, so without thinking. I grabbed a rock and threw it at his head. The rock must of hit him hard because his head started to have red liquid running down his face. I ran to him and said I was so sorry but, by the time I was finished telling him how sorry I was, he was not breathing. I think he died by loosing to much blood. We dug a hole and put him in and put the rock with the diamond in it above him. Josh and I left and told ourselves not to tell another soul. I will still remember that day and how much money we could have made with that diamond.
