Hi,I'm Jonathan Kyle and born in Fredricksburg, Texas 1829. I am twelve years old. I live in a small house with my mom and my dad, but I did something wrong.
Today I worked in the big, wide, open fields once again with my mom. I never see my dad because he works 24/7 and only makes 25 cents a day. I was wearing my old white dress shirt with my regular jeans. As I walked out, a saw a Mexican soldier fighting a woman who looked poor. I ran up and said "Hey, you! Stop!"The soldier stared at me in confusion then snatched the money out of the woman's hands."I am trained to fight and I'm not afraid to test it on you!"He said with his eyes narrowed at me. "Oh yeah! Its illegal for you to be here,"I yelled. The sad woman looked at me poorly. Then I gave her 5 cents. The soldier narrowed his eyes at me and said "How generous of you."Then he laughed at me, then walked away. The woman thanked me for what I did to the illegal, rude soldier.
Chapter 2: I ran back to mama.Her beautiful brown hair moved in the wind as she spoke. She put her hand on me and glared in my eyes and said calmly "Jonathan Kyle, I know you were just being kind giving money, but we are very poor. Don't give out too much money to people. Understand?"I replied "Yes'm"Man, sometimes I wish I have a choice. Why was Santa Anna breaking the deal? Whatever it was, it was bad, maybe the United States of America will help. I decided to walk in our little garden. It was very nice to look at the blooming flowers, the large, lovely trees as the wind barley pushed it toward the tree. I sat down on the bench.

Then, when I sat on it, the wind pushed me backwards and I fell into a swamp.
Chapter 3: I immediately got on my feet, and looked around me. Then I spotted a "no trespassing" sign and my immediate thought was run, and I ran like a bolt of lightning. Now, I finally got mama in my sight, she was in the garden. I immediately ran to her and said"Mom, mom! I fell backward and fell into the swamp!"She replied calmly,"Hey, just calm down. Everything is fine, and guess who is coming over?"She said in some sort of tone."I'm clueless," I said. Momma replied with a happy tone "dad is!"
