The Bite

   Chapter 5:

The next day, I decided to go to the river and play with my friend, Charles. He had red hair and a plump face, but was really nice and wouldn't hurt a fly. Mom and dad, who stayed the night again, didn't have to know. That's where I was wrong.

   So I was playing in the water with Charles in the water. we decided to leave and go to our secret fort, "Fort Purple Fire." It was made out of stones, rocks and twigs. We also saw our other friend, Margaret. She had long, brown hair and loved to be at the fort. She was also very skinny and loved reading books and playing in "Fort Purple Fire." 

   We were Picking up rocks and stones to make another fort wall until I saw a snake confront Margaret who was unaware at the moment. By the way, I am afraid of snakes. Like, REALLY scared of snakes."Margaret,"I yelled to her."What," she replied normally.The snake started to coil up and was ready to strike Margaret. I ran in front of her to take the shot and WHAM. The fangs of the snake bit inside of me"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" I yelled.Charles ran to the noise to find out what was going on. When he saw me, His eyes went big and he ran over to help me.

   Suddenly I couldn't do it anymore. I gently started to close my eyes ignoring the pain of the snake bite."Hey, hey , hey! Don't die on me,Johnothan,"yelled Margaret. Oh, she liked me? I didn't know that! Explains a lot.

   I couldn't do it anymore. I closed my eyes, and passed away.
