Kristella was never really one of the "bad kids" as the adults of the town would say. Now did she get into trouble? Yeah of course what teen didn't get in a little trouble, especially with how small her town was. Friends, her sister and herself were notorious for trespassing to do all sort of things but nothing was ever damaged. Her friends would go for the adrenaline rush and just a place to hang out from the prying eyes and ears of the elders of the town, her sister, on the other hand, was an avid ghost hunter so any chance she got she was going into places she hopped were haunted. And Kris? She tagged along to record it all with the camera she diligently kept with her to capture all these moments; From the time chance got stuck on the fence they were all hopping, the laughs and plain good times she shared, to the absolutely crazy things that happened while she ghost hunted with her sister. It was all memories she wanted to keep forever.

But one thing that made her really want to remember it all, keep those mementos was the person who had always been by her side, the one who she had known the longest and been the closest to. David, the kid that if it wasn't for her would be locked away in his room as if he was Rapunzel trapped in her tower, never to be let out to experience the world. He came from one of the more affluent families in town, unlike Kris who came from the opposite of the escher latter. And that was the thing that attracted her to him, even though he was a part of one of those families he never once acted like the other whose family had that status, never once did he act as if he was better than anyone around him. They were thirteen when they first met, forced to work together on one of the obligatory science projects, and as they got closer she found that he was the only one mature enough to talk to about her home life. That being the reason why she had to grow up so fast and she wasn't sure if he had to as well or just chose to but it was comforting either way. As they got older the closer and closer they got, the same gong for their family members as well. Her sister and aunt loved having her around and his brother and father felt the same but the sentiments weren't shared by his mother. She was a prestigious lawyer with an odd version of a mama bear complex, and she completely expected David to take after her or at the very least take up his father's logging company. And god did she hate it when David would ignore her and leave with Kris, or the days when it wasn't only him coming downstairs to leave for school because things had gotten rough with Kris's mom and she chose to stay the night with David. She'd protest and yell and complain about her being there and even threaten Kris whenever she caught her alone. Lucky enough though she never had anything on her, and as long as she had the three boys in the house fighting to keep her around she was in the clear.

But then there was the night that would change it all, their usual friend group meeting up at their local Gas Station to all pile in Kris's clunker of a car. All to drive out to the newest spot that Aria, her other best friend had found; an old amusement park in the woods that had long since been closed down. The drive out there was like any other that they had gone on, filled with belting out the song and at one point the other half of Aria, chance threatened to jump from the car when his me baby one more time was yelled out by the other three. But nonetheless they managed to pull up in front of the metal gate with Chance still in the car, everyone getting out Kris popped her trunk, Aria knowing just what to get. "Man how have we not worn these bolt cutters down yet? We've basically used these things every Friday for the past year." Aria commented as she looked over the old and dirty tool. "Ever since we were able to drive, they've been in everyone's trunks at least once." Chance added. "Well come on guys what the hell are we dicking around for? There's a possibility that we'll have an entire park to ourselves, David would you like to do the honors?" Kristella spoke up as she shut her trunk, Aria holding out the cutters to him with a grin as yet took them with an exaggerated bow. "why of course I would as if I would pass up the chance on such a momentous occasion. " A few steps to the gay and a bit of a fight to cut the lock off the chain that held the grand the lock fell to the ground and the gate swung open. The metal letting out the usual rusty creek though the sheer size of it amplified the sound by ten fold, lucky this place was out in the middle of the woods.
