A common setting is a new kid moving to a new school (commonly high school), where they know nobody. They get bullied within the first few minutes, before seeing the love interest immediately after. They will then proceed to make a friend.
Now, for the main character (who will commonly be your oc). You must make them seem really shy and antisocial/emo at first, before revealing that they have a secret life as a movie star (etc.) (this will be used later in the story). Now, you must make the love interest super hot and perfect, but make it so there is a barrier between your true love. A common barrier is the bully that was mentioned earlier. He/she will commonly be dating the love interest. Now, you must make a close friend group. Make sure to give them all good personalities, but not as good as your oc. That would lead to them possibly gaining more popularity than your main oc!!
Now that you have most of the things you need to write a story, it's time to come up with a good title. I personally prefer using puns, but that's probably just me. After your title is done, you can begin your story! Make sure that you make a good introduction, that's completely overdramatic, and include plenty of details so there are a lot of words. And that concludes the start of your book!(I'll try to/probably not find time to get into the rest of the story..)
