An old lady came out, she seemed very tired and sleepy.
" umm..... I'm.... I'm sorry to disturb you ma'am , I'm jess and have recently moved in your neighborhood! I wanted a help!"
She did not say anything and kept staring at me as if I am an alien! That annoyed me
"Sorry" she said and slammed the door on my face!
"What? Excuse me old lady, you can't slam the door like that. Come out!! Are you scared of me?? Come out I said!!" I shouted even after I knew no one was listening.
"How can someone even live with her!!" I murmurred to myself as I went inside my apartment.
After few hours of setting up my house, I sat down with a cup of tea near the window! Wait, the window is cracked. I need to call up the contractor right now...

"Have some patience mahn, I'm coming" I screamed

I opened the door, it's dory!
She is my best friend since childhood, and moved here in NY a year ago!
"Hey honey" I said hugging her very tight! "I'm sure you've missed me "
"Of course! And I'm glad you got a job here! I've got some basic things you'll need in the kitchen and elsewhere" she said as she put down 3 big packets down on the floor.
"And ya, get ready fast, we'll head up to the party!"
"What party? Look, I've come here today only and have loads of work to do" I said
"Come on jess! I'll help you with that and on the way I'll show you places you'll look forward to" she said in a very said tone, and now I can't say no!
