An hour went by.

Miranda sat on her silk couch and sighed.

"Guess not."

She pulled her hair behind her ear, and rubbed her eyes.

"I guess I'd better go to bed."

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

"Hello, Miranda? You called?"

Miranda popped her knuckles and chuckled.

"Ah, Kyo. I thought you weren't going to show."

She stood up and walked toward the door in which she opened.

Outside stood the very man in the picture, smiling.

"Come on in, I've heard news."

Miranda invited Kyo in, and he walked to the couch and sat down.

"Tea? Imported from the south."

She walked to a table where she began stirring some in a cup. The aroma was sweet yet bitter, but in a good way.

"Yes, thank you."

Said Kyo, as he rubbed his eye.

Miranda came back with a cup of tea on a little plate and handed it to him.

He nodded in satisfactory as Miranda sat herself down next to him.

"This must be important."

Kyo smiled in anticipation.

"Actually, sorry to douse the flames, but this is more of a hypothesis."

Miranda shrugged, sipping her tea.

"Oh? Continue."

Miranda put the cup down and sighed.

"Well, this may make me sound like a complete fool, but I believe Medusa's army is going to come soon."

Kyo stopped.

"Miranda, you are the smartest, strongest, and most beaut- most brave woman I've met in a while, but honestly, Medusa? She hasn't been seen in years."

He chuckled.

"There's nothing to worry about honestly."

Miranda looked at him with seriousness.

"Kyo, I'm very concerned."

Kyo sighed and brought his hands together.

"Okay, so tell me why you think this."

"Osvald at the armory brought up a very valid point today, that I had yet to realize till then. With all of the war going on, Underworld troops will want to harvest souls, and with an increase of fatalities, it's a very probable theory."

Kyo rubbed his head.

"Well, Miranda, I'm still not convinced, but I can see it in your eyes you're dead serious. So... I will support you in this, but know there's not much you or I can do."

Miranda smiled in satisfactory.

"Thank you, Kyo. I understand."

Kyo stood up and bowed.

"Thanks for the tea, I'm going to take off now."

Miranda stood up and shook his hand.

"Anytime."

Kyo walked out the door, and Miranda smiled.

As Kyo walked, she closed the door to lock up for the night. But right after, there was a knock.

"A little late now, isn't it?"

Miranda thought.

She opened the door again to see a green haired male with red eyes around her age standing there.

"Hello. My name's Hideki, but you can call me Hades."
