CAITLIN'S POV :
"Annabeth I can explain", I said.
I've never gotten Annabeth mad like that. And to see her with so much rage is terrifying. She looked like she wanted to punch someone. But I'm guessing I'm that someone.
"A-Annabeth listen to me", I said with fear.
"What was Rebecca talking about?! Tell me what?! Remember what I said. You can tell me anything. But why did you choose to hide it away from me?!", Annabeth yells back.
"I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to worry. I didn't want you to be scared. I was just trying to keep you away from all this danger and fear", I said.
She walks around in circle with her head down and her hair covering her face. She wouldn't show me her face. I thought she might be crying out of rage.
"I'll just go home. I need some space for a while. Just ... yeah.", Annabeth says.
I really screwed things up. Now I don't know what possibly could happen to us. Will she ever get over this? I know what I did was wrong but it was for her own sake. God. I wish I can take it all back.
If I ever see Rebecca's fucked up face, I will be at her like a gorilla , I thought to myself as I was walking home with my head down and music blasting in my ears.
