~Carly~
"Chloe, where are you, did you take my new sneakers?" "No, Carly, I didn't touch them!" That was my twin sister, Chloe. She is perfect at everything. I'm just, well... average, I guess you could say, but Chloe she's... "special". She can succeed at everything, and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING! She can make a half-court shot in basketball with her eyes shut while standing backwards. She can sing any pitch you ask her to sing without having to listen once. She is in the gifted program, honors math, and is in the tenth grade science classes (we are only in ninth grade!). Let's just say she's the "it" girl everyone wants to be. She hangs out with a more... what's the word... ummm... more... likeable group (A.K.A. popular group), but she isn't mean or nasty, like in the movies where the popular girl is almost always mean. I'm basically just known as Carly, Chloe's way less "likeable" (popular) twin. Chloe and I get along fine, I mean, there's always some tension between us, but that's just sisters for you. One day if I try hard enough I'll be more "likeable", and I will be able to do everything that she can do too! Oh, who am I kidding, I'll never be as good as Chloe is.
~Chloe~
"Chloe, where are you, did you take my new sneakers?" "No, Carly, I didn't touch them!" Ugh that was Carly, my twin sister. She is always making sure I didn't take her stuff, even though she is just bad at remembering where she put her belongings. I guess I'm kinda easy to blame, though. I'm good at many things, I guess that includes taking my sister's belongings (which I don't do). I have never come across something I'm not good at, and trust me, I want to be bad at something, but every time I do something, I just succeed. I don't know what it is with me, I'm just "special", I guess you could say. Now, I have no idea why I'm "special", but I guess that's just how I was made. I don't get why Carly and I aren't alike at all, mentally and physically. We look nothing alike. I guess it's because we are fraternal twins, but I wish we could both have the same minds and brains. Then I wouldn't be the only "special" one in my family. I have long, straight dark brown hair, hazel eyes, tan skin, and I am an average height for my age. While Carly on the other hand has long, wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, freckles, lighter skin than me, and is like a quarter of an inch shorter than me. We also have somewhat different interests. She loves acting and singing, where I'm okay with singing, but I truly love sports and certain academics. We just have our differences.
