You casually stepped into the overly squished elevator. Not knowing how to work was no problem,  allowing yourself to relax was the hard part. You stood in the elevator, staring down the broken keypad that threatened to dub you as male. The elevator stopped, making you hit the keypad in anger.

"Hey! Who stopped the elevator?!" You naively screamed, cupping your hands. The elevator lurched upwards, causing up you to stumble over the wires that were under you're feet. You let out a cry once landing the floor, gripping your now injured knee. It wasn't bleeding, but you were pretty sure it got a bruise.

"Oh! I'm so, so, so sorry!" A male voice shouted, echoing down the elevator and into you're red ears. He didn't sound sarcastic, more frantic then anything else.

"It's fine, but could you not stop me from going to my underground hide out next time?" You joked, lifting yourself off the floor. The boy didn't respond, but the elevator reached its destination. The doors opened to reveal a young man, 23 at the most.

You didn't relize you were staring until he waved. "Hey, uh- you okay?" He questioned, looking you up and down before climnpbing into the elevator. You immediately blushed and turned around, facing the opposite of him in embarrassment.

"I'm fine."

You let yourself drift off into you're thoughts, continuing to look the other way. 'He's cute... Ugh! I messed up...' You thought to yourself, almost blurting out a groan. 'He probably knows I thought he was...' You didn't want to finish the embarrassing thought, finally turning around to face him.

He was watching the keypad, sweat breaking out on his forehead. 'Is it really that hot in here?' You pondered, staring blankly at the floor. You didn't really think much of it. It nagged at your head that something else was far more wrong... And you were right.
