Heat raced across my body, lighting me on fire. And yet, even as my body burst with the raging of the flames, I felt no pain. And then his touch. Like he was made of ice cold water, his hand quenched the need disintergrating me inside out. Sighing in relief, as the fire died down, and his hand drew circles on my bare skin.
"Liam..." The word had barely dropped from my lips, when the gentle stroking stopped. Displeased, I turned to glimpse his angelic face. My heart plummeted lower than the quiet sea bed, down to the molten core of the earth where the organ symbolized as love, was destroyed. My old love's name dying as the liquid darkness that was expelled from Raxis's being, purged every pure thought or memory.
"Hello, my Danielle," Raxis laughed throatily. Suddenly, I was all too aware of the absence of clothes, which had been so natural before, and now, made me feel terrified. His eyes roamed where they wished, and I stiffened, as if his looking was a physical act. His hand lay dormant on my stomach, and as much as I wanted to fling it away, I felt I couldn't move.
"Don't worry, I've seen it all before," he said flippantly, while gesturing to my body. As the hand he had lain so casually upon me was removed, I crawled away. His expression mocked my every move, and I felt terrified of what he would do to me. Did the dream world's actions let loose the consequences in reality?
There was nothing to cover my innocence, and now the stolen moment of before, where I had been burning and then cooled, seemed useless. My body began with its fiery passion of flame running across my skin. Though the feeling was only in my mind, Raxis smiled, as if he could sense my growing discontent and mixed terror.
"What a match we are, my beautiful darling," he whispered. His voice was a half-hearted attempt of seductiveness, imitating normal lovers'. He shifted, moving closer to me, and I gasped, unable to hold my surprise and mingled horror in. With the darkness of this dream, I hadn't noticed what Raxis was wearing. Or what he wasn't wearing.
I tried to avert my eyes, not wanting to look, not wanting to see Raxis in all of his terrible glory. But, I couldn't. And as the realization let loose a struggle between mind and actions, Raxis chuckled. Without words spoken, I knew he was training his power so I could not move my glance to a safer location. He was making me stare, forcing me to watch as he showed himself fully to me.
"Just a preview, darling, of what's to come," he spoke almost aggressively. His words made me whimper involuntarily, and his eyes glinted as he drank in my pain. "Really have a good, long look, my Danielle." The whisper started to beat upon my brain, and it was like my eyes became stronger, more powerful. All the more to see him with.
Lean muscle, and strong golden skin. Complete relaxation in every muscle, and light hairs dotting the unblemished surface of his legs and arms. I shook violently, as I directed my gaze towards his face. Laughing eyes, and well-balanced, assymetrical features. He was a god, in every aspect, a masterful, terrible god. And, all of a sudden, the fear began its rhythm in my skull, a forbidding tempo, like the beating of drums. Warning me of what was about to become....
In a split-second, Raxis was right near me, his breath hot upon my face. His eyes led a scorching path all over my body, lingering in the most secret of places. I felt desecrated, with his gaze violating me. And then, he touched my arm. Almost an experiment, he drew a path across the pale hairs and my creamy skin. My mind was fighting an intense battle to draw back, to hide from his poisonous touch.
His fingers danced across my upper chest, and I shivered as he threatened to let his hand fall. He grinned- a smile of a man who holds the power- and continued across my chest. And then he drew closer to me. I knew what he was about to do, and I screamed inside my head, but my body would not obey my own commands. And it was too late.
