Lenna
No, no, no this can't be true. I looked in the blue eyed man in front of me. When he looked at the confused look in my eyes. He smirked at me and said 'yes sis I'm back'. He let go of me and opened his arms. Without hesitation I ran into his arms. We stood there for what felt like an hour. Happiness filled my heart, I lost him 12 years and now he is back. All grown up and muscular. But than realization kicked in. 'HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ME ALONE' I screamed at Zale who looked at me confused and unsure of what to say. His eyes fell to the ground, like he had lost the battle.

'Wait you didn't know why I was gone this whole time?' He looked at me in disbelief and than anger came. He punched the wall behind us, really hard. 'Zale please tell me' I said. Please was not a word that I knew very well but my curiosity was to strong. 'Owh, and can you also explain why you had to pull me in this alley and pin me against the wall' I said when I felt a thick substance ran over my back. I knew I was bleeding. I was just to curious to recognize the pain in my back. Zale started his story. And I listened with all my attention on him.
'Dad forced me to move out of the house, he said I was only trouble. Mom would try to protect me but after a while she couldn't anymore. I would come home in the middle of the night all high and drunk. Dad would scream at me and mom would be in tears. Every single night I slept in your room. You were the only thing that didn't make me feel like shit in that family. One night when I came home, mom was holding you and trying to calm you down, you were crying. When you saw me you tried to ran towards me and I tried to hug you. But before you even reached my arms, dad had swept you of the floor and into his arms. He glared at me with empty eyes. His face murderous. He made me leave the house. I had nowhere to go. I lived on the streets for a few days. Than I met Axel he was 16. He offered me shelter and in return I would work for him. And you know how impulsive I can be right? He asked.
I nodded, still trying to process everything he was telling me. He continued
'I chose to accept his offer without even knowing what kind of work he meant. I knew that once I accepted there was no way back and I loved my new job. I lived in a huge house with Axel. Axel became my best friend. We train together, we eat together, we do everything together. But what Axel and I see as work might shock you a bit. Axel is the boss of the Russian mafia. We deal in drugs, weapons. We kill people.' His voice was unsure when he said the last sentence trying to find out what I thought. I was shocked but I didn't let him see that. Satisfied with my lack of emotion Zale continued talking.
'You must know that I've been watching you all this time. I saw you when you left for school and when you came back. I knew when you left the house. I protected you from a distance. I saw you growing up into the beautiful woman you are. I also saw you getting stronger every day. I was there when you broke a nose for the first time. That bastard deserved it, asking you on a date. If you didn't do it I would have. I was there this afternoon when you cracked the nose of that annoying bitch. I was always there for you Lenna and I will always be.'
I stood with my back against the wall, when a man walked around the corner.
I was just about to start hitting the intruder but I felt Zale holding me back.
The man took my hand and shook it firmly. 'So you must be Lenna Woods, 16 year old fighting girl that is known for not showing emotion and being totally ruthless when needed.'
Ruthless, I loved it when people called me ruthless. It gave me power, it make me feel strong.
'Yes that is me' I said with a strong voice. 'I guess you are Axel?' I asked already knowing the answer
'Yes that is me' he mimicked me. I rolled my eyes at him. An angry glare was sent my way. I copied his glare
'Yes I'm Axel Stepanov, boss of the f*chink Russian mafia' he repeated.
Axel was a strange man he had a very structured face and his jaw has sharp. I was sure that it was just as sharp as a knife. He had green eyes and black hair that was pushed back. He was even more muscular than my brother. He was wearing a black suit, just like my brother and I only now saw the guns tucked in their pants. My mind was filled with questions. But one was overpowering all the other.
'Why did you reach out to me now' I asked looking at my brother.
Zale stood uncomfortable looking at Axel for support...
at once I wasn't sure I wanted to hear the answer to my question.
