You stumbled down the stairs, your eyes heavy and your toes freezing against the cold wood floor, but you were too tired to care. You headed to the kitchen and poured yourself a cup of coffee, made your way to the couch, and turned the TV on, not really bothered to pay attention to what was on.
Your phone started to buzz. Looks like your boyfriend, who was currently on tour, was trying to FaceTime you.
You wish he was home. It was your one month anniversary, and you both knew it wasn't a huge deal, but both of you wanted to do something special for it.
You ran a hand through your hair and tried to make yourself not look like you just got out of bed, and accepted his FaceTime request.
"Hey babe!" Rian said, smiling like crazy. Looked like he was outside. You smiled at the camera. "Happy one month" You said, rubbing your eye a bit. "You look tired. Did you just wake up? It's like 11!" Your boyfriend questioned, taking a sip from whatever Starbucks drink he decided on today. You shrugged and looked somewhere else, a bit embarrassed.
When you looked back at the screen, you noticed something. Rian just walked by a tree, that looked oddly familiar. Next you saw a house that you knew to be your neighbors. "Rian where are you?" You asked, your heart starting to pound. He smiled almost deviously and he took a turn up to what seemed to be a house. "You'll see in about 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.." And suddenly, you heard a knock on the door. "You fucking didn't!!" You said and got up sprinting to the door.
You swung the door open to see a familiar face, holding up his phone. You turned yours off and jumped into his arms, wrapping your legs around his waist and burying your face into his shoulder. He was a bit taken back by how excited you were to see him, but it wasn't long til he wrapped his arms around you. "Hi Y/N." He mumbled, kissing your shoulder "What the hell are you doing here??" You asked as you jumped down and took a sip of his drink (You always did that. He never minded) Rian shrugged and ran a hand through his hair. "Well I was really missing you and we weren't too far so I convinced Matt to let spend our day off down here so I could see you! We have a bunch of plans to do stuff, so you can see the guys and we can just hang out and be with each other for a bit" He said. Your face turned red and you looked down at yourself.
"Oh shit let me get ready look like I slept in a dumpster" You said and went to run to the shower, but before you could, Rian grabbed your arm and pulled you back. You looked up at him, and next thing you knew, his lips were on yours. Your eyes widened, but it didn't take long for you to kiss back. Rian pulled away and smiled. "Just had to do that before anything. I was so impatient." You both giggled and you reached up to leave a quick peck on him, then you ran off to take a shower and get ready.
