We began our trek, circling the pond.
The pond was roughly the size of a soccer field, not that huge, but enough for people to walk around it and enjoy the scenic view consisting of the pond and plants surrounding it. There were also mini fountains on the pond, giving off a beatiful naturistic vibe to the whole place.
I stopped halfway and went nearer to the pond, bending down to scrutinise the colourful fishes swimming inside. I took a piece of bread from my pocket that I had bought from the canteen, and began shredding small pieces to feed the fishes.
Realising the awkward silence as he just stood beside me looking at what I was doing, I turned my head to face him and started to speak.
"This is the pond. Hopefully the nature and serenity here can offer you some peace when you feel stressed by school work. You can drop by whenever you want, and with whoever you want as well..." My voice went softer as I ended my speech, not knowing what else to say. He nodded his head, then shifted his gaze from me to the fishes.
Once again, I was in a trance, observing his side profile. It was true beauty from whichever angle! I believe I will never get tired from eye-raping him all my life...
At this moment, the wind blew gently, causing the leaves to rustle and a few to float their way down to the ground. His styled hair moved slightly, forming a picturesque scene right in front of my eyes.
I heaved a sigh, everything that has happened seemed to be drawing myself near him.
But I just know. All of him screamed danger! How could I let myself down and allow such feelings to succumb to him?
Taking a deep breath, I tried to clear my head and behave normal.
I cleared my throat as loud as I could. "Why, won't you just look at the time! Time to hurry back before Mr. Bercury sends us for detention for being late!" I huffed.
Without looking at him, I turned around and headed towards the direction of our class.
The rest of the day went by pretty quickly, and soon we were having the last lesson.
"Ringggggg!" the bell sounded.
School is over!
Being grateful that he didn't bother me much for entire day, I decided to reward him, with another nice treatment. Boy, was I an angel.
I shifted my focus from the retreating figure of the teacher to Daniel who slumped in a daze, in his seat.
"Do you have anything on today? Would you like to continue your to-" I got interrupted by a high pitched squeal before I could finish my sentence.
"Hey handsome! Would you like a tour around the school with us?" Laura exclaimed excitedly while staring at him with her eyes opened as wide as she could. She even batted her eyelids after she spoke!
I rolled my eyes knowing no one would notice me since she and her group of three other girls were too busy trying to lure him into their trap.
Should I save him from their clutches or not? I pondered for a moment but didn't get the chance to decide.
"Oh no, I already have Sheara as my guide, but thank you so much for the offer!" Daniel replied with a gentle and polite tone.
I supposed he must have thought that it would be rude of him to reject me for some pretty girls when I had been so kind to him. Yes, that must be it. Which guy in the right mind would reject girls who throw themselves at their feet? Time for me to reveal my nicer side once more!
"Hey, it's ok! You don't have to turn them down for me, I think it'd be better if you follow them instead." I gave him a genuine smile before turning to the clique of girls and continued, "Please show him around, thank you for taking the trouble!" while packing my stuff. I thought I heard a scowl from Laura, but I shrugged it off and didn't let that bother me. Without waiting for any of them to reply, I left the classroom, probably in a blink of an eye. Well, he'd better thank me for my kind deed!
