Chapter 3

He's headed to the parking lot when he heard a girl screaming on the top of her lungs but he can't see her face because she's facing the other way.

She is crying for help because she's being harass by three boys who were also from his school but much older that him. When he saw the girl's face he didn't think twice and beat the three assholes.

He learned martial arts when he was younger for self defense so it's not a problem for him to beat those guys.

When he's done beating those jerk heads he searched for the girl but she already ran away.

He just wish that the girl will be home safe.

George's POV

I'm late. I have detention after class. Fuck life. Phoenix left me because he's gonna pick up his new girlfriend.

What a brother.

At lunch the twins asked me where was I. So I tell them my wonderful adventure that I walked from my house to school and took me half an hour to arrive. I missed my 1st and 2nd period.

Anyway, time ran so fast that I didn't notice that it's dismissal already. Which means I have to go to detention.

Before I reach the detention room I bump into my brother and his minions

"Can you tell mom and dad that I'll be home late"

"Why? You have a date" then he and his minions laughing so hard

"You wish" then I left him and his minions and proceed to the detention room

Our detention room is like what you've seen in the movies. Gray walls , squeaky chairs and a sleeping Warden. I placed my detention slip and find a place to sit.

I saw some familiar faces there's this guy in my gym class who has a band aid on his eyebrow. I bet he got into a fight again.

And this blonde that I bet was seen making out with his boyfriend in the locker room because her lipstick smudge across her face.

When I turn my gaze to someone who is sitting in the corner of the room. I know who he is

It's Niall

What is he doing here?

I sit beside him and he turn to face me while is smiling. He's still happy even though he's in detention. He's really one of a kind.

"Ohh the good girl is here. What have you done?" he said with a smirk

"I missed 2 of classes this morning. What about you?"

"I got into a fight"

"Really? With whom? Why?"

"It doesn't matter. That's why I'm called the school's Bad Boy right?" He smirked again that fucking jaw dropping smirk

"I thought you're different."

Were both gobsmacked by my reply. I was about to change it

"You really thought that I am different?" He asked like he's not really convinced.

"Yes" I answered with honestly.

"Well you thought wrong." he said strongly and avoid my gaze

Niall's POV

"I thought you're different"

I was caught off guard by her words.

"You really thought I am different?"

I want to believe her but I can't back out now. I agreed with them. I don't wanna disappoint them after what we've been through.

"Yes" she answered.

It's for my own good, I know.

"Well you thought wrong." I replied and avoided her

I saw her reaction on my peripheral vision

She was hurt by my words and action.

Wait, what? Hurt? Her?

After detention I go straight to Harry's house. He is my friend since were fetus as well as Zayn, Liam and Louis.

We formed a gang when were in freshmen. We fight in underground battles. I've been through everything with them.

They also knew about her.

Harry's driveway was full when I arrived. The other boys are already here.

"Hey Nialler" Liam greeted me when I enter the house. He is holding a bowl of popcorn.

"Where are they?" I asked

"Game room"

I nod then make my way there. I can hear them even though I'm just on the staircase. The game room is in the basement.

"Nialler is here!!!" Louis shouted while playing FIFA but can't take his eyes off the screen.

"Hey lover boy." Zayn greeted or should I say teased me.

"What's up man?" Harry is the only one who greeted me properly.

"She thought I was different." I said

"Woah" that's the reply that I received from them.

"Do you think she remembers me?" I ask Harry

"I don't know dude it's like the third grade and you don't look like that when were in third grade." Zayn answered

"Just remember the plan. You make her fall for you then break her heart so you can have your revenge for what she did to you when were in third grade." Harry said

I just nod.

George's POV

When I arrived home I'm still thinking about what he said.

I really thought he was different but I thought wrong.

He's just like those assholes at my school. I should not waste my time on him. I will never talk to him again.
