Chapter 1, Troy and Cassie met each other in 8th grade. I looked around the classroom to see if i knew anyone. Troy looked up and saw Me standing there and said to himself(wow, who is that girl she's pretty?) then the teacher came in and said everyone go look for your seats please, I looked for my seat and it was right across from Troy and three other boys in the group.okay everyone why don't u get to know each other that is in your group the teacher said. The three other boys told Troy and I stuff about them. Then It was my turn I said hi my name is Cassie Blake, I like to ride four wheelers, shoot and play sports. One of the boys in the group said so Cassie your a tomboy then? Yea what about it? Nothing I just never met a girl that liked to do boy stuff. Okay then. Now It's Troy turn, hi my name is Troy Jackson, I like to play sports, ride four wheelers and fix cars with my dad. The teacher said class it's time for lunch.so we went to lunch. I looked around to see if i New anyone but I didn't cuz I don't have that many friends. So I sat down at a empty table and listened to music. Troy looked around and saw Cassie sitting by her self so he sate by her and started to talk to each other and got to know one another.troy asked Me if he can have her number? She gave it to him. It's been 2 months now that they've been in school. The night before I went to school I got bad news from her cousin. That my dad died.😔My cousin asked me do u want to stay home today? I said no I'm fine I want to go to school. When I got to school I started to cry, Troy came up to me and asked what's wrong? I said nothing is wrong just leave me alone. Then Troy went to get a teacher. ( I forgot to introduce Lucas)Lucas came up to Me and asked what's wrong? Nothing's wrong Lucas. Cassie something's wrong if there was nothing wrong then why are u crying? I said fine I'm crying cuz I just found out that my dad died he overdosed!! 😭 then Lucas looked at me and said I'm so sorry for ur lost. Thank u Lucas for being here. Then Lucas hugged me.... then Troy came back with the teacher and saw Lucas and I hugging each other. Cassie, oh hi Troy. Hi, the teacher is coming. Cassie are u okay and what happened? Troy said .I'll tell u Troy, I said bye to Lucas and the teacher. Then Troy and I started to walk and I told him what happened. I started to cry 😭 I couldn't stop crying. Troy hugged me and said I'm sorry for u lost, but Cassie I'm going to be here for u, I'll always be here for u. Couple of weeks after everything happened, I was looking for Troy and saw him talking to same girl and I got mad and jealous because I lost my chance to tell Troy that I like him.
