I promise you... (A KaiSoo Fanfic)

It's nice to meet you!

"Who are you and why are you sitting on my seat?", Kyungsoo asks the tanned boy in front of him with an arched eyebrow. 

The tanned boy continues looking outside. It seems like he didn't hear the questions the other boy asked. He even didn't realize that there is somebody standing next to him. Jongin still looks outside and thinks. He is too worried about what he would do if he saw Wo-Jin again. The little boy is afraid and doesn't want to see the older boy again who harmed him the day before. He had this argument with his sister yesterday. He didn't want to go to school today but his sister encouraged him. But now he feels unsure again. But Jongin is still very happy that his sister came and listened to his problems yesterday. He is so happy to have his sister by his side. Jongin loves her so much! 

Later on that day, while he was sleeping, his sister talked with his mother about what happened to Jongin. Their mother was shocked and cried because her baby was hurt. She went to Jongin's room and hugged her son while he was sleeping. Jongin could feel this warm hug of his mother and slightly smiled in his sleep while Mrs. Kim shed some tears.

"Hey, are you even listening to me?", Kyungsoo asks again but this time with a more annoyed tone in his voice than before. He doesn't like it when others ignore him.

Realizing a voice next to him Jongin stops looking outside and turns over slowly. What he gets to see is an angry looking boy who seems older than him. Jongin looks deep into Kyungsoo's eyes and gets frightened. They are scary! The boy in front of him is scary! He looks like he murdered someone before and Jongin thinks he will be the next one.

Kyungsoo still stares at the tanned boy with a sharp gaze. He cannot identify the other boy but he looks different, not like his classmates. Kyungsoo never saw him before. Is he new? But it could also be one of his classmates who likes to play jokes on him aswell. To be honest he isn't that close with his class. He spends the most times alone because everyone else is scared of him. Kyungsoo can't tell though who this boy in front of him is. He is unsure and confused. He was so in a hurry to go to school that he forgot his glasses at home. He really should have cuddled a bit less with his mother this morning. But he doesn't regret cuddling here because Kyungsoo loves his mother and spending time with her. 

"Tell me already, who are you?", Kyungsoo asks again, his sharp gaze still present. He begins to feel sorry and gets sad when the other boy looks shocked. It's all because he forgot his glasses at home! Now this boy won't talk with him either!

"M-my n-name i-", Jongin stutters. He doesn't like that Hyung. He is relieved when he gets interrupted by the sound of an opening door. Their homeroom teacher enters the room and stands in front of the class. 

Yeo Soon immediately stands up and tells the class to greet their teacher. It's her job by being the class representative. Everyone stands up and bows to show their teacher some respect. Then they sit again except one kid and that is Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo stares at everyone. Some seconds pass until his teacher notices that Kyungsoo is still standing.

"Ah, Kyungsoo, you're here again", the teacher says and walks to him, the whole class watching them.

"You must be wondering who this is. Let me introduce you two", he smiles. "Kyungsoo, this is your new classmate Kim Jongin, yesterday was his first day here and since we hadn't enough tables and chairs I allowed him to sit on your spot because you weren't here".

Kyungsoo nods in understanding and looks at Jongin who freezes. He now regrets that he forgot his glasses at home today. He hates it when others get afraid of him because of the way he looks at them due to having astigmatism. There are so many who misunderstand him...

"And Jongin, this is Oh Kyungsoo, your classmate, if you have any questions you can ask him, I'm sure he would like to teach you anything", the teacher continues and Jongin looks immediately away from Kyungsoo.

"It's nice to meet you, Jongin", Kyungsoo says and slowly puts forth his hand to Jongin and smiles a little. He doesn't want to scare the other boy. "I'm sorry for my behaviour, I didn't know.."

"It's nice to meet you too Kyungsoo", Jongin says quietly and reaches out to him slowly. "And it's not your fault, don't worry", he suddenly feels more confident around this boy. He takes his smaller hand and shakes it, then he notices the beautiful heart-shaped smile that forms on Kyungsoo's face. He is happy that Jongin is accepting his hand although he had to stare at him. Jongin is the first one who accepted shaking his hand because no one did this before, being too scared of him and his eyes. This always made him upset but today it's different and so he smiles widely.

In this moment Jongin's heart skips a beat. It feels like an eternety, Jongin never felt like this, a great feeling! The handshake ends but Jongin keeps on staring at Kyungsoo. This boy in front of him doesn't seem like a bad person anymore, no, quite the opposite: Kyungsoo seems like a kind, friendly and helpful kid now. Jongin slowly gets to like him... Yess he really does!

"What is happening to me?", Jongin wonders and tries to control his heart beat, the feeling of being afraid has been gone a while ago.

And it is not a secret that Kyungsoo likes Jongin aswell. He doesn't show his heart-shaped smile to everyone. He only shows it to the ones he loves or really likes. He saw this boy in front of him for the first time, yes, but somehow he has a liking on him. Because he is the first one who isn't afraid of him?

"Why am I acting like this?", Kyungsoo wonders and also thinks that the other boy has adorable eyes, just like a puppy. He wants to get to know Jongin more! The feeling of annoyance been vanished.

"Kyungsoo, I'm going to get you a table and a chair now", the homeroom teacher breaks the silence between the boys and walks away.

"Thank you", Kyungsoo nods while smiling, but this one is not a heart-shaped smile!

I was too busy with school and so much happened plus to be honest I didn't wanna write in my free time but now it's finished yess! I want to continue this ff and also start the sequels when this one is finished omg I'm still looking forward to it, to finally write down my ideas and post it here 😄💞
