Naruto's P.O.V
I concentrate on the power dwelling inside me, the fox demon that I have grown to know as my friend and not my enemy. I grit my teeth and curse I get no response. Where was he? My guess was that they somehow learned how to sever me and his communication. My body was going weak, allowing me to know that these chains were depleting me till I had no more.
A weak laugh escapes me. Isn't this fulfilling? I hurt hime and now I got us stuck in this If we live...when we do live I will take however long it will take to mend what I have done. My head jerks up as I hear the screech of the metal door to my cell. The familiar figure of this man that has been torturing us for information stands. I narrow my eyes, growling low in my throat.
"Tsk, Tsk I would think you would be more loving to someone who is going to set your girlfriend free." His voice says, no amusement or sick happiness. He was serious. I frown, not daring to truly take this conniving man seriously.
"Must you always come here with fake lies? I may be the number one knucklehead but I will not be fooled with an old trick." I murmur, throat dry and screaming for moisture as my chapped lips rub against each other. I would never ask or beg for this man's food I am too proud for such actions. It's funny that only now, as I was locked possibly to the end of my life, that I was learning to control my actions. The man cocks his head as I soon give a dry humored laugh after that His face pulls up in an ugly frown.
"What's so funny boy? I hold your life in my hands." He snaps, clearly offended that I laughed in his face, my torture.
"I find it funny that once I'm free I will be going you the worst Rasengan of your lifetime," I say with a stupid grin plastered on my face, ignoring the ache in his lips as the skin makes an effort to pull into the grin. The man's frown quickly turns to a scowl and he turns from me.
"So I assume that you do not wish to learn of how you can free your silly little girl?" He asks, ignoring my laughs that seemed to get loud in the tiny cell but as those words left his lips the laughing cuts out completely. I glare into his back.
"Tell me," I say after thinking on it, The worst he could do is give me his offending smirk a laugh, proclaiming how we will never leave the dungeon. He looks at me and smirks, knowing I would want to know how to free hime.
"We need your fox."
In the leaf village
"Lady Hokage! Lady Hokage!" A busty blonde hears, sighing as she quickly hides her sake as Shizune enters. She lazily rests her head on her hand.
"Yes, Shizune?" Tsunade asks, bored as she stares at her secretary. Shizune sucks in a breath, panting as she had run the whole way up to her Hokage.
"Lady Hokage we have reason to believe that Naruto is in grave danger. We have finally achieved data on the possible ninja's that took him and Hinata. This group has been hunting down tailed beast just as the akatsuki has." Shizune says, eyes wide and her pig starts to snort. Tsunade eyes widen and she quickly stands.
"What do you propose we do Tsunade?" Shizune asks. The Hokage thinks before sighing.
"We will locate and destroy the base. Send orders to Kakashi to destroy the base once Naruto is retrieved." She says, looking out the window at the vast village below. 'They may not know it but I know it. In the near future, we are going to need naruto again.' She thinks. Shizune fidgets on her spot making Tsunade turn and stare at her.
"What are you waiting for Shizune? Send the message." Tsunade commands with authority deep in her voice.
"But Lady Hokage the Hyuuga..." Shizune says frowning at her.
"Is a causality that we will have to take. We can not lose our future savior. Send the orders." Tsunade says. Once she hears the soft click of the door as Shizune, reluctantly, goes to send the orders she sighs.
"Jiraya is this truly the right move?" She asks, before sighing once more. 'It will just have to be.'
