When I get outa school I work on my science homework. When I get to the force problems I think about Mandy. The way I caught her chocolate brown eyes watching me when Mrs. Louis caught her not paying attention and called her, and she got it right with a little stammering. Then after class when our eyes locked it almost felt as there's a spark between us, but I'm sure that I'm just dreaming. Needing to get this off my chest I call Derek. It rings twice before he picks it up and answers.
"Hey Travis,"Derek says.
"Hey Derek," I reply joyfully.
"What is making you so happy," Derek questions.
" You know how we were walking down the hall after science today and I got completely sidetracked," I ask hopefully.
"Yeah sure why," Derek asks.
"Well I was sidetracked because I locked eyes with you know who," I told him.
"Yeah what about it," he asked suspicious again.
"Promise you won't tell anyone," I ask.
" Yeah," he says.
"Well this will probably sound dorky but it felt like there was some sort of spark between us. So um do you think I'm crazy or what,"I ask hopefully.
"As I've been telling you since you told me you liked her go for it," he replied kindly.
"Thanks for listening,but hey you talked to your crush? Umm uh Haley that's it," I replied.
"Well umm no," Derek answered.
Even though I could hear in his voice how red his cheeks were turning I asked him, "Why not?"
" Well I mean I don't know of she'd say yes, and I'm waiting till the next dance to ask her," he responded.
" OK but listen I gotta go I have another call. Bye see you tomorrow," I said then hung up.
After the third ring I was able to answer the phone I find it to be a prank call. So I just hung up and decide to take a walk down the street to the park where it's really peaceful and quiet. When I get there, and look across from where I'm sitting I see Mandy right there.

As I'm sitting in the bench in the middle of a memory from when I was littler and used to try to climb the tree that's directly across from me I look up to not only find the tree but my biggest crush ever,Travis.
