Ellie's POV - 1 months later

I'm getting really scared, the baby is due to be born any minute now and I'm not prepared for this. Jaime is keeping a close eye on me with everything I do just incase something happens. I literally can't do anything for myself properly anymore because my massive bump gets in the way. Even Megan had started to help me from time to time which has made my life so much easier.

"Babe, I'm just popping to the shops quickly, I'll be 15 minutes max" Jaime said to me as he entered the lounge. I was sitting on the couch watching some shitty chick flick that I found on the TV.

"Okay, can you also get me some ice cream while you're there pretty please?" I asked sweetly while giving him the puppy dog eyes because I know he can't say no to a pregnant lady with the puppy dog eyes.

"Of course I can" He smiled. He then leaned down and pecked my lips.

"Bye" I shouted as he left the room. I heard a faint bye shouted back then the front door slammed shut. I was now home alone, this is the first time in a long time that I've had proper time alone without anyone interfering. Megan has gone to see Josh for the day because she hadn't see him in a long long time. And by the way Josh's girlfriend finally had her baby, she had a cute little girl and called her Poppy. She's the cutest baby girl ever, it makes me more excited to have my baby now, I just wish it would hurry up already.

I started to tear up at the stupid film when it gets to the emotional parts of the typical chick flicks, I always do. As I was sitting there watching the ending I started to get really bad cramps in my stomach, I started to fidget and feel proper uncomfortable, it wouldn't go way. All of a sudden I felt water dripping down my leg, fuck my waters just broke. I started to really panic because I was all alone with no one else in the house to help me. I slowly stood up off the couch, still in a lot of pain from the small contractions that I was starting to have and grabbed my phone from the counter. I scrolled through all the contacts until I found Jaime's name and clicked on it. On the fourth ringing he finally picked up.

"Hey babe" He answered unaware of the news I was about to tell him.

"Jaime, my waters just broke and you need to get home right now-Arghh!!" I suddenly shouted out as more pain started to grow in my stomach.

"Okay baby, I-um need you to breathe in and out really slowly for me and I'll be home as soon as I can, hold on El" He rushed out, you could tell by his voice that he had started to panic too. He then hung up and I sat back down slowly. My breathing got heavy because I started to full on panic. I began to breathe in and out slowly as Jaime told me and that helped a little but not much. The pain was on and off for a while till I heard the front door open and immediately Jaime rushed into the room and helped me up.

"How're you feeling baby?" He asked.

"It's fucking painful Hime!" I whined as we walked out the door, well for me I was more like waddling. Jaime then opened the car door and helped me in. He then hopped in and drove off to the hospital.

All the way there I was crying in pain and squeezing Jaime's hand when it got really bad. I could see by Jaime's face that I hurt him a little bit but if I can go through child birth then he can put up with me squeezing his hand for a while.

When we arrived we rushed into the hospital and Jaime called out for a nurse to help me. Everyone started to fuss over me and it was overwhelming, too many people were surrounding me at once. One of the kind nurses brought a wheelchair for me to sit in then wheeled me into a room. They told Jaime to stay outside till they had got me sorted, he protested at first but they still wouldn't allow him to come in so he waited in the waiting room. The nurse whose name was Mandy helped me change into a gown and helped me lay on the quite comfortable bed.
