Hayden's P.O.V

"Ok hands up" I said putting Jakes shirt on

"Where do strawbabies come from" he asked

"You mean strawberries buddy" I said putting his socks on chuckling

"Yea those" he said shaking his head

"Um I think a bush" I said not sure myself as to where strawberries come from

Once finished getting him ready we head out to the kitchen so he can eat his breakfast

"Why do we have to eat breakfast" he asked

I moved quickly from the fridge to the small breakfast bar setting up for him

"Because we need to eat something before we start our day so we can be strong and have energy" I said pouring milk on his favorite cereal

"Emergy? what's emergy" he asked

"Jake buddy you need to start eating or we will be late again" I said

His head hung low as he picked up his spoon

Jake dreads going to school he hate anything that doesn't involve me

"Jakey please don't start" I huffed

I hated when he did this it broke my heart every morning

I went around the breakfast bar and kneeled in front of him moving his hair out of his face

"Jake buddy look at me" I whispered

His blue glassy eyes met mine and my heart broke even more

"I love it when you smile.
Nothing makes my world glow brighter
Oh Jakey don't you make me
But now I think I'm going to tickle you" I sang slowly

Every word making his smile grow wider

I reached for his ribs and he tried to escape my tickle attack but he had no where to go as I kept tickling him his arms and legs wiggles around aimlessly and his infectious laugh filling up the room

"UNCLE, UN-CLE "he yelled that was code word for stop or I give up

I stopped and joined his airy laugh

"I don't think Jakes had enough he still looks down" I said moving towards him again

"No haydy I've had enough I promise look I'm happy see" he said smiling wide

I smiled

"Ah I see " I said

"And look I'm eating" he said stuffing his face with the biggest spoon full of cereal ever

"Thank you" I said getting up

I kissed the top of his head and returned to my morning routine

A few minutes later Jake has finished and now we are heading out

"Shoe" I asked

"Check" he said

"Coat" I asked

"Check" he said

"Book bag" I asked

"Check" he said

"Jake" i side smirking
