Trigger warning: Battle and injury
-------
3rd POV
Hanzo and (Y/N) were assigned to a mission in Anubis. It was simple, prevent the enemy from infiltrating and exploding the point. Easier said than done. Hanzo kept a close eye on (Y/N)'s wreckless self as he stayed perched on his little area, carefully picking off his enemies with nice, clean shots to the head. Meanwhile, (Y/N) was just firing at them at close range with her small light pistol, causing her to get a couple of injuries in the process. Nonetheless, she was doing well. As the mission was continuing on, the enemies were becoming harder and harder to handle. As a couple of them grouped around (Y/N) he grunted slightly as he jumped down, shoving her out of the way. "Scatter!" The archer shouted as he fired at their feet, the arrows scattering and hitting each and every one of them. Hanzo sighed and helped (Y/N) up as he did push her to the side after all. "(Y/N), please be more careful. We have stated many times your wreckless behavior will put you in danger. And we cannot handle loosing a soldier." (Y/N) sighed and nodded, being a bit more careful begun firing once more.
*Timeskip 'til around the end of the mission*
It was almost over. They were just wrapping up until out of nowhere (Y/N) was charged into a wall. She heard a deadly chuckle, watching as her attacker ripped the pin out of a grenade, chucking it at her feet and sprinting off. Hanzo made the split decision to take aim and shoot at the attacker, driving the arrow through the man's throat. (Y/N) screamed as she tried to scramble away from the grenade that had begun viciously blinking and beeping. The last thing she heard was the marksman himself crying out her name before everything went black.
When (Y/N) woke up, she had found herself in the infirmary. She yawned and stretched, only to groan and yelp from the sudden jolt of pain. Her body ached viciously as she looked around. (Y/N) tried to move, realizing she couldn't feel anything where her left leg was. Tears beaded at her eyes as she slowly looked down at her lap, confirming that from the lack of a form under the blanket that she had indeed lost her leg. The girl looked to her right, only to find a certain Shimada she held so dearly to her heart. He was asleep in the chair next to her bed, arms crossed and hair untied. She went to reach over for him, only to yelp out in pain. Her body was covered in scratches and whatnot, most likely from the debris that hit her during the explosion. That yelp certianly woke the archer up. "(Y/N)! Oh thank god you woke up! I was so concerned for you. The grenade exploded, and it blew your leg off, I had to carry you here as fast as I could. Mercy said you were severely injured, I feared you would not wake up," he continued to ramble as (Y/N) painfully moved to place a delicate hand on his cheek. "Shh... it's okay. I'm here now, aren't I? Everything will be okay." Hanzo took her hand and kissed it, shifting so he could oh so gently hug her, pressing soft butterfly kisses to her forehead and cheeks. "I care too deeply for you. I love you too much to lose you." He spoke, passion dripping from his words. (Y/N) blushed as she smiled, closing her eyes and speaking, "I love you too... And I will never leave you."
