Vegeta

It was a rainy night and your boss had changed your schedule making you doing the night shift by yourself telling you to lock up when you were finished. As much as you hate being in that cafe by yourself, you knew not many people came by during the night so you wouldn't be doing too much. You decide to clean around the counter tops since there wasn't much else to do. As you were wiping the counter you heard the front door open, signaling a customer has stepped in. You were so concentrated on cleaning you didn't notice the man in front of the counter waiting for his order to be taken. "Hello can a man get his order taken around here?!" He said catching you off guard. "Oh uh sorry sir," you said slightly embarrassed and quickly went up to him,"so what would you like sir?" You were taken back a bit as you saw the man being much more shorter than you thought he'd be for a voice so loud, he was only up to your chest. "Hn I'd like a large, hot chocolate mocha and make it snappy." He said glaring up at you, you were feeling a little uneasy by his stare and quickly left to make his order. 'My god that guy is demanding, of all the people who had to come in tonight it had to be someone like him.' You thought to yourself as you were finishing up the order "Here you go sir," you said as you handed him the cup, "that's gonna be $2.50." He handed you the money and took a seat in a booth near a window. Now that it was silent again you grabbed a broom and swept around the cafe. As you were sweeping you can feel eyes following you wherever you went but you did your best to ignore them. "So is it just you around or is everyone else hiding?" The man said breaking the silence in the cafe. "Uh it's just me tonight sir-" "Vegeta, my name is Vegeta." "Right..ok, my name's (y/n)." You told him introducing yourself. "Do you always work the night shift by yourself?" "As of now yeah, my boss had recently changed my schedule so that means I'm gonna be working alone." "Hn." Vegeta then got up, left a tip in the tip jar and left the cafe, you'd be lying to yourself if you said you weren't a little disappointed he left
but oh well it's like you can just beg him to stay there with you until your shift ended.

It's now night two of doing the night shift and you were once again alone, that was until Vegeta came in. He walked up to the counter and asked for the same order he did last night. After giving him his order and him paying, he took a seat in the same booth and did nothing but stare at you and drink his mocha. You being weirded out by this tried to start up a conversation. "So Vegeta, what is it that you do before coming here at night?" You instantly regretting this, thought you were insane for even trying to talk to him. "I'm a fighter so I train everyday but it does get a little boring of just doing the same thing over and over again, that's why I've decided to come to a near by cafe at night when I've finished training." "Neat." You said not really sure how to react by his answer. You looked up at a clock that was on the cafe wall and realized it was 5 minutes until closing time. "Aw shit I lost track of time." You said as you quickly went to take off your work apron and lock up everything in the back. After that you turn towards Vegeta almost forgetting about him. "Oh hey it's closing time, sorry to rush you out." "Hn." He said and got up walking out the door. Once you've locked up the whole place you were gonna walk home until you noticed Vegeta had been waiting outside for you. "Night Vegeta." You said smiling at him then walking home not knowing a certain someone was standing in place blushing like a mad man from that smile.

Two weeks has gone by and you and Vegeta have become friends, you still worked the night shift but you didn't hate it since you were never alone. You were currently making Vegeta's mocha as he sat on the counter top watching you. "(Y/n) I'm getting quite impatient when-" you were now in front of him with his now finished mocha, his face went slightly pink as to how close you two were. "Here Veggie it's done." You handed him his mocha and were about to leave him to do other things around the cafe until, you felt a hand grab your wrist. "Hm? Everything ok Veggie?" You turned around to look back at him but he was looking at the floor. "Veggie?.." "...." "Vegeta?!" He finally looked up at you but was now blushing, this caught you off guard as you've never seen him look like that before. "Woah Vegeta are you alright?" You went up to him touching his forehead, making his blush worsen. "I'm...fine." "Fine?! Dude your face is red and you're heating up, are you sure you're fi-" He pulled you down to his face and kissed you. You were really surprised at what was going on but kissed back quickly gaining dominance over him. You held onto his waist pulling him closer into the kiss, he then wrapped his arms around your neck holding onto you. You two kissed for a little longer until air was needed and both of you pressed your foreheads together. "That was... unexpected heh." You said slightly flustered, holding his hand. "I've..been wanting to do that for quite some time now.." Vegeta admitted, he held your hand tighter. "I really enjoy being with you (y/n)..will you be my mate?" He asked as his face was getting redder by the minute. "Heh of course you dork, I enjoy being with you too princey." After that night you and Vegeta stayed together happy and content.
