*Teyana in the MM*
Once I got to the parking lot of the complex, it was raining. Teyana caught my eye. She had a full hand of groceries and her purse in her hand. I ran up to her.
This is my chance, I thought.
"Let me get that for you." I told her.
She looked up at me. She looked different than usual. I noticed she had on no makeup and she had on glasses, she still was beautiful.
"No thanks, I got it."
"I insist." I said.
She looked down and smiled, then looked back up and handed me half of the grocery bags.
"Lemme see all of 'em." I laughed.
She laughed and handed me all of them including her purse. "Nah you - you keep the purse." I laughed handing it back to her.
"Thanks." She laughed in her angelic voice.
"You welcome."
We made our way to the elevator. She pressed the button that said 25.
The 25th floor? She really is that good kind of independent woman. She must be hella rich, I thought.
"You did great at the shoot earlier." I said attempting to make small talk.
"Thanks." She said adjusting her glasses above her nose.
What should I say? "Hey, you're cute with no makeup on" or, "oh, I like your glasses, where'd you get them," there's literally nothing I can say without sounding weird, I thought.
I just settled on staring at her like I been doing. She noticed me staring at her so she started to speak.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Quante Davis. What's yours." I faked like I didn't know.
"Teyana Mitchell," she spoke. "Well Quante, why do you do that?" She asked me.
"Do what?"
"Stare at me. I be staring back at you cause I thought you'd get nervous and look away but it never happens." We both laughed while exiting the elevator.
We walked to her apartment and she took her keys out and unlocked her door.
"Cause you're beautiful." I said.
When she looked up at me, I stared into her eyes.
"You're a sweet ass guy, you know that?" She said as the door swung open.
"Thanks. You had a chance to see the pictures yet?"
"Yeah, they were hot!" she exclaimed excitedly.
"You should swing by and take a couple shots with me."
"I will, I'll talk to my agent tomorrow. You want something to drink or eat?"
