Deckard Shaw x Reader (Part 4)

"For the last damn time, Roman. We are not going to a bar after the events that happened not too long ago." You say, annoyed that he would actually have the nerve that to ask you, Brian and Dom who could have been shot not too long ago at the factory to go to have a couple drinks.
Despite Shaw, making your heart beat in anticipation even though you're not near him. "They have God's Eye, we have to return back to the States."

Roman huffed and gave up. Mumbling, "Just tryna cheer you all up."

Sighing, you sat back in your seat, waiting for the plane to take you all back to the states. Though, it should be ready in half an hour.
Somehow, it's been a miracle that Jakande and Shaw hasn't came after you all right now. Maybe it's they still need to figure out how to use God's eye, but soon they will find out. It wouldn't be too long 'till they catch on. They'll probably get it to use less than 20 minutes of retrieving it.
Though Dom wanted to go right now. Not wanting family to be in harms way any worse than it is now.
Your mind went back to Shaw.
Remembering his eyes on you. Remembering your brief encounters with him.
Everybody in the proctected room.
Mostly they were silent. The air tense, expecting people to rush in, guns blazing.
Roman quieter than usual, other than raving about his usual self.

You caught eye contact with Dom.
You felt he's still annoyed that you didn't listen.
Of course, he doesn't want to lose you. Nobody else doesn't want another funeral.
Hell, even Dom won't let anyone out of his sight, knowing that God's Eye is in the wrong hands.
But he needs to know that you can handle yourself.
You got up. Dom almost shot up to block your path.

"Where are you going?" Dom questioned, his voice hard and demanding. At least that's what others that didn't know him well would hear in his voice, but you know him.
Slight worry in his voice. Despite him clearly trying to hide it.

"Just needed to stretch." You sat back down.

You stood back from your family as they talked, the parking spot having a whole view of the city.
They were just done talking about playing, keep-away with Ramsey. Your role?
You are to drive Ramsey for as long as you could, without her being injured of course.
Then let Brian take her. Then to Roman and Tej. And so on and so forth.
Dom was to... take on the attractive british culprit that invaded your mind. You honestly felt worried about them two meeting up again. Either Dom was to physically rough Shaw, or maybe... no. Dom isn't that kind of man. But you didn't want Dom to be hurt.
Or... Shaw either, you add before you can even think about it. Damn it. Now your own thoughts are betraying you. Still, though... you don't want anyone to be hurt. Knowing Dom plans to hurt Deckard Shaw.
Dom seemed surprisingly calm about the idea. But you know him, he seemed like he needed this. After all, Shaw put Hobbs in the hospital, blew up that house... and Han six feet under.
You had no idea why you even still liked him, despite his actions.

Maybe you're the type to attract bad guys like a magnet. And for you to like them back. But you'd be lying to yourself if you thought Deckard's brother, Owen wasn't sort of handsome. (Yea, Owen Shaw is hot af 😍😍😍, thats just my opinion but for some reason, I'm more drawn towards his big bro)
Owen Shaw wasn't your type really. But Deckard is your type... oddly.

"(Y/N), you're going to have to drive for Ramsey." Dom instructed you, his voice interrupting you and pulling you back to a serious, complicated reality. You quickly unbite your lip.
You look over at him, his strong bulk body turned towards you. Then you avert your eyes towards the ground.
Seeing an ant carry ground food trash away. The sun halfway down over the horizon. Giving off a warm glow onto your face and everything else. The beauty seemed to be taunting you, as if saying "Enjoy your last sunset". But you knew that you were just on the verge of a paranoia state.
But you have to do this. To have your family safe again. So that was the only thing that held you together.
